Paid Members FLips Posted September 24, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted September 24, 2023 I'm starting an office job in a month and haven't had one for around 5 years. I have put an insulting amount of weight on in that time and find myself in a situation where I need jeans/chinos for a fat and short lad. I'm talking 5'6 with a 50 inch waist and like 28 inch leg. It's a mess. For reference when I was in the last job I was a 42-44 inch waist so it was fairly easy. Anyone know any good shops or websites for finding clothes to fit my gross body? Thanks. Tim Healys Chutney Spoon
Debenhams.com BadRhino are the main brand they stock. May get them cheaper direct from BadRhino though  https://www.badrhino.com/sale?f=t&size=50&sortby=pricelow&sale=true  Also, despite the pisstaking, Jacamo are usually reasonable value. Paid Members Jesse Posted September 24, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted September 24, 2023 BadRhino have been a lifesaver for me. Pricier than I'd love, but given Primark no longer covers me I've gotten used to it. Not had any problems with them, and the only time I've returned something (I ordered a couple of sizes to try out) I could just drop it to a local Yours rather than needing to post it back. Paid Members johnnyboy Posted September 25, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted September 25, 2023 +1 for BadRhino. Their own label stuff is good, but other big lad jean brands you'll find stocked elsewhere include D555 and KAM.
Paid Members FLips Posted September 30, 2023 Author Paid Members Share Posted September 30, 2023 Just an update to thank everyone. Got a pair from BadRhino today and they seemed really good but I guess I'm not as fat as I thought I was because a 46 waist was hanging off me so I had to send them back and get a 44. Sadly not in the original design as they didn't have the size. I'll be using them from now on it seems!
Dan Williams
Kinda an expert in this field. Bad Rhino is a great shout, but I would also take a look at Bigclothing4u.co.uk too, and if you're based anywhere near Birmingham you could always pop into Banks Big and Tall, an absolutely superb shop for the larger gentleman. Paid Members Thunderplex Posted September 30, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted September 30, 2023 Got some really nice chino’s for my Holls from Debenhams.  Some shorts too.
Glenryck Pilchards
BoohooMen have been a good option for this fat bastard and it is relatively cheap. Not clothing of the best quality, but the last order I did I got two pairs of jeans, jogging bottoms, three t-shirts, two packs of socks and a pack of boxer shorts for less than £80. Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted October 1, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted October 1, 2023 Got all my holiday clothes from BadRhino and boohoo men. They are a life saver. I get the odd t shirt from Primark that fits well and is comfy. But I’ll use BadRhino exclusively from now on.
Merzbow
I found that Primark sizing can be all over the place, pick up two of the exact same thing and they're vastly different. They've been good for keeping me in cargo pants though, recently.
