Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted January 7, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 7, 2025 I’ll be watching. Read it’s 8am UK time though. I’ll be at work but should be able to avoid the result until I get home. It’s not like it’s a fight randoms are gonna be talking about so that should help with swerving spoilers. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 7, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted January 7, 2025 Yeah, probably looking at around 11am for the main event. Quote
NeverYield Posted January 8, 2025 Posted January 8, 2025 Nyika was game, he came to fight, he got some great shots off, but ultimately as I'm sure we all knew Opetaia proved too much Just to soon for Nyika though really, he's a good man himself, just too soon, he'll come again. You don't want too many hidings like that in your career though. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 10, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted January 10, 2025 Jai came out and fought like he wanted to prove Nyika didn't belong in there with him, he was right. That finish was brutal. Quote
Tim Healys Chutney Spoon Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Ref was a bit quick stepping in i thought Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 17, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted January 17, 2025 Dunno if anyone is aware, but Naoya Inoue is fighting this morning on Sky Sports. He's 1/50 favorite and Kim is stepping in on super late notice, but always nice seeing Inoue do his thing. Quote

TildeGuy~! Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 1 hour ago, Egg Shen said: Ignore me, it's next Friday Yea was gonna say. Reports suggest it’ll be a Junto Nakatani Japan super fight for Inoue within the next 2 fights. Nakatani was ranked No.9 pound for pound last time I checked and WBC Bantamweight champ with 22Kos with a 29-0 record. Arum reckons Inoue will fight Alan David Picasso in Vegas next with Nakatani on the undercard. Quote
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted January 17, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 17, 2025 Nakatani v Inoue is the fight I most want to see now that Bivol and Beterbiev have fought and are having a rematch. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 17, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted January 17, 2025 Apparently, Turki wants Inoue vs. Nick Ball Id love to see it. Inoue would likely chin him but it would be a wild fight. Quote
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted January 17, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 17, 2025 That would be a great fight as well, while it lasted. Ball's come forward style is made for Inoue. Quote
