Azim looked very good last night, took a few decent shots, but made sure he was in the middle of the ring as much as he could, used his jab and speed well, put a bit of a beating on Davies throughout and finished him in fantastic fashion. See where he goes next, but for someone so young he looks something special.

Azims speed of hand and foot, and jab were quality. Would like to see the dalton smith fight down the road.

Edmundson gotta be one of the most undeserving titlists ever, would like to see Cameron face him.

Tsyzus defence was non existent and he paid the price.

If you have Amazon Prime and you want to see Tim Tszu get the ever living shit beaten out of him then today is your lucky day. Murtazaliev is going to be a problem for everyone at 154.

Had Murtazaliev as a stab in the dark bet on my acca at 7/1, happy as larry.

Sam Jones claims it was before he met Catterall but says in the voicemail he knows him well, that's after it was played to everyone, how can anyone take him seriously again? Not that I personally ever took him serious, but lying like after that was played, just give it up. I hope Prograis can win, but in his last two fights he hasn't looked good at all, so unfortunately I see Catterall winning on points.

Davies vs. Masoud - IBO World Super Bantamweight Title

What a fun fight this was last night. Davies favorite due to doing more on paper between the two until this fight in the professional ranks. Masoud had got the better of Davies twice in their two amateur fights.

I was unsure who would win before the fight but Masoud really impressed me with skills and toughness, he boxed smartly when he could, stood his ground when necessary and continued to throw punches throughout as Davies tried very hard to close to gap and turn the fight in his favour after Masoud for me taking a healthy lead in first half of the fight. I thought Davies begun to do better in the middle half of the fight and won a few of those rounds but Masoud dug in and came back to take couple and both continued to throw until the final bell.

Masoud gets the W  and becomes the new champion on a split decision. I thought in the end Masoud won the fight comfortably, at least by four rounds, but technicality of a split decision may lead to a rematch next  or down the line at some point. Break out moment for Masoud last night and see where he goes from here, but based on this fight, he could do some damage in this division and cause problems for a lot of the other fighters outside of Inoue.

Felt Davies fell victim of falling in love with his punching power. He's been knocking out everyone recently and clearly fought like he just needed to land a shot on Masoud's chin.

Ol' Turki has put this weekend's Riyadh Season Card on Sky Sports Mix for free if you don't have a DAZN sub. Lovely touch.

He's also relaunched Ring magazine, and has said that the rankings and Ring belt will come back into effect next year to signify who the true number 1 is in each division.

well, we're 2 days out, best get to grips with the fact this is happening.

Any thoughts? i'm still pretty uninterested. I thought i'd eventually buy in, but there's something off about the whole thing. The actual event is solid and the undercard is decent enough, but this is the ultimate circus event. Netflix has a 3 part build-up show up which i'm gonna get into, see if it makes me feel anything.

It's gonna do ridiculous numbers on Netflix and i've started to see a lot of non-combat sports fans talk about it, the whole reaction and aftermath is gonna be interesting if it's a shit show.

Can't really escape the promotion for it, but I won't be watching I'll do what I usually do with WWE these days and see what happened the day after on social media. Hoping for a Tyson KO victory, but he's pretty old and with a lot of mileage on his body. Cannot see him lasting for ten 2-minute rounds.

Speaking of the promotion, Iron Mike's recent interview with Rosie Perez took a sharp left turn...
