Paid Members Accident Prone Posted September 20, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 20, 2018 I saw them at Download '08. One of those bands who I knew, at most, two songs of but some how I still knew everything they played in a "Oh yeah! This one!" manner. Paul Stanley's pride and confidence in his man-tits was very good too.
Slapnut
I saw them at Wembley Arena in 2010 and the crowd were unbelievably dead. At one point, Paul Stanley started playing Whole Lotta Love, and the crowd exploded, which prompted him to stop and say âoh you know that song? Maybe you should sing along to ours now!â. Didnt work. Great gig, shit crowd.
WyattSheepMask
Thatâll have been the Sonic Boom tour wonât it? You would think anyone going to see KISS would be up for it. Theyâre very much a Greatest Hits band, which is fine because thatâs what 90%+ of the audience want to hear. They ainât going to bust out anything from âHot In The Shadeâ or âUnmaskedâ

Wideload90
I will be going. One for the bucket list after spending my high school education listening to love gun and have not looked back since. Except monster. That is shit. I almost admire Gene for being so brazen about money. Good for him. Oh, and Peter Criss is the drizzling shits.

Chances are you'll be seeing him. Simmons has just spent his whole promotional tour for his box set kissing the arse of every member of the band they kicked out (including Vinnie Vincent.) It's going to look like a fucking AAA Battle Royal by the looks of it. Edited September 20, 2018 by IANdrewDiceClay

WyattSheepMask
Depends if Vinnie Vincentâs trademark Application for âVinnie Vincentâs KISSâ as a touring group goes through or not, he could have burnt that bridge as soon as it was finished being mended
Paid Members martyngnr Posted September 20, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 20, 2018 As much as Paul Stanley's voice is shot they are still great fun live. Their blatant use of a backing track can't even ruin it.
Jon-Carr_92
I'm hoping I can see them while I still can. Couldn't make the last UK Tour. Wonder what crazy merch they'll have for this one.

Paid Members jazzygeofferz Posted September 27, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted September 27, 2018 I wouldn't mind going to see KISS. When they're good, they're amazing. If they trotted through Double Platinum and a couple of other select songs to pad out a set they'd send a lot of people home happy. I hear there's a Hungarian KISS tribute band that are supposed to be up there with seeing the actual band in their prime.
