Danilo and Mendy are due but after the Alves snub you just don't know what can happen. General feeling was that if Alves came that would free up money for a CB but that won't happen now. METAL ON METAL Posted July 21, 2017 Share Posted July 21, 2017 Chelsea are about to open talks to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to Sky. Possibly a good move for all concerned. Arsenal get rid of a player who doesn’t want to be there, the player gets fresh scenery and Chelsea add to their homegrown quota if nothing else. I want him to stay though, he is decent cover at RWB and can also play in midfield. City have been a shambles when it comes to defensive recruitment. They even had to play Mangala at LB yesterday!
