Jimmy Boy
Been going through the network and got hooked on the classic tag team matches from the past! A lot of the nwa/old wcw stuff is all new to me as I grew up watching wwe and we didn't get the old wcw in England. Been blown away with the midnight express, neverrealky seen then before, and loved their matches with the fantastics at the first bash and against the rock n rollers at wrestle war 90. Also loved the MX bout with the southern boys on an old ppv but can't remember what it was on. Anyway, list your memories of great tag team matches and hopefully I can find them on the network
MungoChutney
An obvious one but The Rockers vs Orient Express from Royal Rumble '91 is an oustanding match. As is the Express vs Owen/Anvil from the following year.
Ambulance Chaser
Hart Foundation vs The Brain Busters Summerslam 89 i think it was.
Porkchopcash
Harts v Bulldogs. 2 out of 3 falls SNME, think feb 87. That's the best SNME ever.
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted December 30, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 30, 2016 Almost anything from the Hollywood Blonds short lived run in WCW in 1993. In particular their series of matches against Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas for the titles. But they also had some really good matches with Ric Flair and Arn Anderson, Arn Anderson and Paul Roma and 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Bagwell. They were great. For a team that only lasted about 8 or 9 months, they crammed a lot into their short time together. Â Steiners squashes are always fun as well, from early 90s WCW and WWF. And their match against the Heavenly Bodies at SummerSlam 93 is excellent. Â Oh and I wholeheartedly second the Hart Foundation vs Brain Busters suggestion. One of my favourite matches ever. Steiners/Nasty Boys from Halloween Havoc 1990 is a must. As is Steiners vs Owen/Bret. Â As is Hollywood Blondes vs Bagwell/Scorpio from WCW Worldwide 8th May 1993. One hell of a tag match and the Blondes' best.

Marshmallo
Different era entirely but I loved that best of 5 series Beer Money had with the Motor City Machine Guns round about 2011 or 2012. Beer Money are up there with my favourite tag teams ever, it's a bit of a shame they didn't get a run as a team in the big leagues.
Pier Six Brawler
That Midnights vs Southern Boys match blew me away the first time I saw it, WWF just didn't have great midcard matches like that at the time. It was the opener on the VHS tape but they cut 3 or 4 matches off.

Paid Members PunkStep Posted December 30, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 30, 2016 So many matches I'd recommend have been mentioned already, so a few from the top of my head: Â Midnight Express VS Brian Pillman & Tom Zenk, Capital Combat 1990. The Rockers VS Brain Busters from WWF in 1989. MSG event I think. A modern one, but a proper throwback to the great WCW tags of the late 80s/early 90s- American Alpha VS The Revival from NXT Takeover Dallas. Any matches involving The Shield/The Usos/Rhodes Brothers during the summer of 2013 (I think?), they had some belters.
zep81
The Rockers v. Demolition 10/24/88 Â The Rockers v. Powers of Pain 1/15/90 Â Two excellent Rockers matches, esp the POP one. Supreme bumping by Marty.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted December 30, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 30, 2016 They were bloody great against big guys, their match VS Twin Towers was much better than I expected it to me.
Paid Members jazzygeofferz Posted December 30, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted December 30, 2016 The Hollywood Blondes had some crackers with Scorpio & Bagwell on WCW Worldwide back in 93. The cage match with "Los Dos Hombres" was a good one as well. I have a VHS my mate bought me of some Blondes matches recorded off the TV then downloaded, then stuck onto a VHS which has them winning the belts, feuding with Steamboat/Douglas then the Horsemen. It skips the Scorpio/BAgwell stuff unfortunately, but has their 2 out of three falls match against Flair & Anderson, which is tremendous.
