something that was brought up on The Bash podcast the other day that was related to the aimless Bellator Euro scene, but should apply to all of Bellator. The company is in desperate need of a ranking system. I know the UFC one has its critics, but it gives divisions structure and Bellator needs it. A World and European top 10 and the inclusion of European belts would be great. Right now, it feels like the European fighters are just fighting for no reason without anĀ end goal.

Moving to New York tomorrow, to focus pretty much exclusively on the MMA marketing for DAZN. Bricking it. But, too good of an opportunity to turn down I guess! If streaming of live sports is

Day 1 in Hawaii: Bellator booked our hotels, so Iā€™m in the same ā€˜villageā€™ as the fighters. So far Iā€™ve seen Chael, Rampage, Coker, Herschel Walker, Paul Daley, Mike Goldberg, Douglas Lima, Neiman

That announcement alsoĀ pretty much confirms that Nemkov will rematch Davis next. I can't think of anyone other than AndersonĀ for Nemov or Davis to fight next.Ā

Elsewhere, Coker has saidĀ that the recent signings are not a sign that he's going toĀ buildĀ Bellator's roster, rather the new signings willĀ act as replacements for fighters they intend to release.Ā

This is great news. BellatorĀ needed to shake up their roster a bit and get rid of some dead wood, which they nowĀ seem to be doing. I am far more positive about Bellator than I was a month or so ago.Ā

i would have had no problem with them throwing Anderson straight in with Nemkov. Guess Davis does deserve it though.

Bellator need that ranking system though, badly.

Thatā€™s a top signing. I watched one of hisĀ fights with Yan a while back and it was incredible. Keep meaning to watch the other one. Kind of wish the UFC had got him just so we could see the rubber match but itā€™s one of the best signings Bellator have made, IMO. Unless heā€™s dropped off since the Yan fights I can see him doing big things.Ā

Like we said in the Zombie vs Ortega thread, Europe seems to be churning out beasts for fun at the moment. The fact that thereā€™s enough of these guys out there for both the UFC and Bellator to grab up says it all.Ā

yeh, i skirted over it when it was announced but Usman Nurmagamedov is said to a real prospect. 11-0 and heavily tipped to go on to be better than his cousin Khabib. Daniel Cormier gave him a glowing review on his podcast last week (though he would wouldnt he).

Are we getting this weekā€™sĀ Cyborg show on Sky Sports or what? Canā€™t see it on the listingsĀ and itā€™s on Thursday according to MMA Junkie. Is that right? Thursday?Ā
Ā

Edit - ah never mind, foundĀ it. Sky Sports Mix, 3am, Thurs night/Fri morning.Ā
