It's a shame in some respects that two of the most unique superstars they've had have been reduced to channel changers. Bad booking, questionable motivation over the years and the stink of putting over some ridiculous names hasn't helped of course.

Big Show is the ultimate of no emotion for me at this point. Can't emotionally invest any more because he's been turned so many times and been beaten. But he has a place as a utility guy, and while I do dread when that slow music hits, he can do a great promo occasionally, or can have a surprisingly good match out of nowhere (Last Man Standing with Roman, or the series with Sheamus a couple of years back).

Kane is a character that had a far shorter shelf life than the run he's actually gotten, constantly brings people down a level, hasn't hit the high points of Big Show, and any time they push him it feels like a dead end, because they've explored the ceiling of every possible incarnation of Kane, and its yet to yield quality results. He's not the monster, he's not really anything now, but there he is, like a fart in a lift, with no escape in sight.

Very disappointed to see Big Show leading the poll now, I expected better from the UKFF.

It was interesting listening to Show talking with Jericho on the podcast recently. In a roundabout way he buried the booking of his character over the years, but at the same time came across as a guy that had stopped giving a shit about all that sort of stuff a long time ago and was just happy to turn up for work and pay his bills. He was giving Jericho credit for the way that he had protected his own character at times and in doing so he pretty much admitted that he had never bothered to do the same for himself.

They aren't going to find someone who can match Big shows size but they really missed a trick not having someone else a the Authority's heavy other then Kane. Someone like Like Harper could off been given a chance

Or a guy like Wade Barrett. Someone could have gotten a big rub.

They wouldn't have gotten much of a rub, though. Authority lackeys Big Show and Kane haven't been performing badly in an incredible role. They're just warm, fairly-credible bodies to act as obstacles -- over and over again in the same matches -- for whoever Seth Rollins is feuding with. Their performance and effort is absolutely commensurate to that of the creative decision-makers.

It's criminal that WWE haven't made more of Harper (Barrett's got to take a fair bit of the blame for his standing), but being the Authority's cannon fodder wouldn't be a great improvement.

That's true in the exact role that Kane and Show he wouldn't have gotten a rub. They would have to be booked stronger. I guess I just think they have missed the boat with Harper

Yeah. Dressing up as a King and jobbing to R-Truth is the same as regualrly being featured in Raw main events and main event angles. You're right, a Barrett or a Harper would have gained nothing from taking out Brock Lesnar on Raw last week.

There's a load of wrestlers that would have benefited from being in their authority spot. You could have had Reigns in the Batista enforcer-going to turn on Rollins role. Luke Harper is a better worker than Kane/Show combined. Kevin Owen's was a shout for me before the Cena situation quite rightly exploded. Sheamus is another. Hell, even Orton could have been fed to the faces because what he does no longer matters.
