Undefeated Steak
I'm seeing cardboard box brown and the exact colour of parma violets.
MoKonjic
Here's another interestering article. This may have confused me more. No matter what they say, those squares marked A and B are not the same shade of Gray  http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn27048-the-dress-is-white-and-gold-but-heres-why-we-disagree.html
Paid Members herbie747 Posted February 27, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted February 27, 2015 Photoshop dropper tool of the 2 colours - is that not obvious enough? Where's the white? Where's the black? Nowhere. It's lilac & brown. Â
Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted February 27, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted February 27, 2015 White and gold but I'm kinda colour blind/don't know colours.
Paid Members herbie747 Posted February 27, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted February 27, 2015 Where the fuck are you morons seeing white? The top right corner of the photo is white (where it's overexposed) - and that's not the same as the dress.

andrew "the ref" coyne
To me it's white and gold (or at least the white is a light blue to me compared to the top right). Â Showed the Missus, she insists it's royal blue and "black - black".

Undefeated Steak
Herbie's evidence is concrete. Anybody who thinks otherwise is colour blind.

It's 100% sound - it has no agenda - it shows the actual colours of the dress as they are in that photo. Do you see white or black or gold in that image I posted? Because they're the exact colours from the photo. Â (I'm taking the piss, BTW in an "OMG how are you all so stupid?" kinda way - so relax with the "aggressive" lark)

Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 27, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 27, 2015 Â Â Where the fuck are you morons seeing white? Â (I'm taking the piss, BTW in an "OMG how are you all so stupid?" kinda way - so relax with the "aggressive" lark) Â Because of the way a camera reads and processes the information it takes in. It is just as subjective and faulty as an eye. With a different white balance setting, the grey you've posted could easily have come up as something else (or any other number of settings that could be adjusted to similarly disrupt your super scientific findings). Â Furthermore the dropper gives you only the colour of the one specific pixel you've clicked on, which again is not how colour perception works, because it works by context. Â So yeah.. Great work there, Hercules Einstein.
