Paid Members JNLister Posted November 24, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted November 24, 2013 Just done a piece on Les Kellett that involves a story about a sold show (bill money show) so it's not exactly a new concept. Hell, WWE did them all the time in the 80s and still try to do them when they visit new countries.
The Dart
My vast knowledge of the wrestling industry. Â It's pretty common, in this country anyway. Like Lister said, even WWE do it. Most of their tours are probably sold shows.
steamroller
Aren't the wwe butlins/camp shows all bought shows? I know the States version of them are.

Paid Members gadge Posted November 25, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted November 25, 2013 The Manchester show originally announced for yesterday has been cancelled for a little while. Most of the rest are still on, Darlington tonight, and I may go to the London show next weekend.

Interesting to know where in the Dolphin centre ut is being held. It's the sports hall on top floor, where they also have craft fairs, record sales etc. I'm here... Paid Members JNLister Posted November 25, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted November 25, 2013 Am I right in saying that the Bristol venue was a church and the Leeds venue is under some railway tracks? Â Bristol is a converted church that's now a permament music/events centre. It's a tiny place, but you get some reasonably big bands playing there using it as a warmup venue., for example Gorillaz a couple of years back and Goldfrapp next month. It's 250 capacity seated, but 650 standing for gigs.
