The Whole Show
On one hand im suoer excited for the Rumble and The Punk/Rock match. Â I absolutely do know want to see the Rock/Cena rematch though. To me its a kick in the teeth of fans like myself who went to Miami where it was promoted as once in a Lifetime. Id actually be for Taker/Punk, but would rather see Rock/Lesnar. Â If we do get Rock/Cena(which we probabley will), If Cena wins, Id then have Ziggler cash in on Cena. Â Ryback/Show would make sense for a quick undercard match, For the title id rather see Sheamus vs Orton.

King Coconut
Presented in the right way anyone could be presented as a viable candidate to end the streak, even though nobody ever will. Â Well that's obviously not true at all, is it? Are you just exaggerating for effect there or do you really believe that? Since they put the belt on Mysterio I think they believe they can. Paid Members air_raid Posted November 22, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted November 22, 2012 Yeah, the briefcases are brand/title specific now. Â I still wouldn't rule out some bullshit where Vicky reveals she has used her power to get the contract inside the briefcase amended. Or better yet, that the contract states that it affords the winner the right to challenge "his brand's champion," and that just prior to the show she brokered a trade taking Ziggler to Raw, making the WWE Champion his brand's champion. If the company wanted to do it, they will. They've never let a little thing like whether or not it makes sense stand in the way of anything in the past. Â As for Ziggler cashing in after the end of an advertised Mania main event : it certainly would be dramatic, but I don't think they'd have the balls. They'd think that everyone watching wants to see either Cena or Rock standing victorious at the end, and to see either win such a gigantic match to then get usurped by Dolph might seem like a letdown. Jackpot
Isn't the MITB contract only eligible up to WrestleMania? So if Ziggler hadn't cashed in by then, it'd be too obvious to have him end the night as champion after cashing in. Â What seems more plausible, with the way the WWE have generally fucked Ziggler out of main event status, is the following night on RAW after Mania you see Ziggler cash in only to be told his contract has actually expired and he doesn't win the title. Â They've had the first loss when cashing in the contract this year, maybe Ziggler is the first to actually fail to cash in.

When it changed to MITB, it was still a year, and hence now valid until the following MITB PPV.

You can say you saw it the first time it ever happened, there you go. Â I'd actually buy the prospect of the WWE putting Punk over 'Taker. I don't think they should, but given the push he's had and hwo run down the Undertaker is it doesn't seem beyond the realm of possibility to me. Â I'll be honest, I'm not keen on Rock/Cena II, but I think that's because by the time it happened at this year's Mania I was bored of the whole angle due to twelve whole months of that one story. And I always expected Rock to win. But, if it only comes to fruition after the Rumble, then two months of hype and actually some chance of Cena winning then I might be slightly more interested in the actual match. (title or not) Â As for Punk/Taker, I like the idea somebody had earlier with it being for the title. That way it could actually add some suspense to it and some belief that the streak might finally be ended. I think the way they'd end it though is Taker winning but via DQ so he doesn't actually walk away with the title but the streak is still intact. KaneIsMyDad
I don't think Punk/Taker will happen...but if it does then I reckon they should go with Taker winning the title, and then the following night on Raw announce his retirement and relinquish the strap. A bit like how Edge went out but with different circumstances obviously.
