Sector_15
Sabu in Brid? Sweet! Â I thought the same. I attend their shows locally but I think I'll make an effort this one.
Paid Members Big Benny HG Posted April 29, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted April 29, 2013 UWE have announced that Sabu will be appearing for them in Bridlington in August. Â For the full summer season, or just one particular week?
Sector_15
Looks like for one show only on the 26th August.
Paid Members Big Benny HG Posted April 29, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted April 29, 2013 Wow. I'd be lying if I said the prospect of seeing the once in a lifetime chance of Sabu vs. Brad Flash didn't appeal to some part of me.
Snitsky's back acne
Seems like Sabu might be here for a bit as he's announced for shows in Rushden on 3 August and Corby on 18, so add that to Brid on 26th and you're looking at pretty much a month he'll be over here by the look of things. Killjoy_Gee
Suddenly WWE films doesn't look so bad...  http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...p;v=v4TTWJKsNdI  I bet the Zombies could feast forever on Matt Hardy  Edit: It's the next Hollywood blockbuster to NOT feature Dwayne - Wrestlers vs Zombies Edited April 30, 2013 by Killjoy_Gee
aaron
I just came across the "Wrestlers vs Zombies" news too (although come on man, give us a bit more of a clue when posting a YouTube link)  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2240046/   Roddy Piper Matt Hardy Jim Duggan Kurt Angle Shane Douglas Sylvester 'Bear' Terkay  And others that some of ya may know (coz they billed as "Herself" or "Himself").  Scott Levy plays "Himself", surely not...  Looks like a shit but can't miss kinda thing. Could be Piper's third great movie Edited April 30, 2013 by aaron
TheShowOff
Ugh, great concept, but one look at that cheap cover has put me right off. Yes - do judge a book by it's cover. If they can't be bothered to do a decent job of that, the film has little hope.
King Pitcos
The trailer makes it look woeful. If you'd given me that cast list for a Wrestlers vs Zombies film ten years ago, I'd have raped my family to see it. But now it just looks like another terrible horror film starring washed-up wrestlers.
Vamp
I'd be more tempted by a Jim Duggan/Roddy Piper buddy cop movie.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted April 30, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 30, 2013 I'll still watch it anyway, as it's a film with loads of wrestlers in it.
Paid Members SpiritOfTheForest Posted April 30, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted April 30, 2013 As a man who LOVES zombie films and has been a fan of pro-wrestling for 13 years, this is more than relevant to my interests. I'm sure I'll love it. Though I also loved Wrestlemaniac and Girls Gone Dead.
Forrest
Is Shane Douglas playing a character that is living or dead? It's not a given with the Franchise these days.
ClassicsGuy
Remember those awkward wrestler interviews they used to have on Going Live/Live & Kicking back in the day, when kids used to ask the questions? Â This is kind of reminiscent of them. Sheamus gets interviewed by a kid on a morning tv show: Â http://www.myfoxdetroit.com/story/22118797..._8QR6cf7k.email
