Paid Members air_raid Posted August 27, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted August 27, 2012 No one should give a fuck about what PWI think about anything. This is a publication that ran a cover story of "How Lesnar ruined his own WWE return". Yeah, completely ruined wasn't it.

Paid Members air_raid Posted August 27, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted August 27, 2012 i always thought people's ranking on the list was basically just based on their win/loss record. with that being the main reason why Punk and roode are 1 and 2 Â It basically is. Who has had the best year, won the most/biggest matches. As opposed to PS' list which is who they think have had the best in ring year in terms of match quality. Forrest
Surely though that would mean Ryback would be quite high up as opposed to being below Evan Bourne who's been injured and suspended for most of the year?
Paid Members PunkStep Posted August 27, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted August 27, 2012 It's also based on quality of opponents. PWI always put full details of their criteria in their special issue. Think of it as a Western-influenced FIFA rankings. Â Did they really run that Lesnar story? Surprising. Sounds more like something Powerslam would do. Unless it was a kayfabed 'Lesnar ruined his return by losing and then breaking the boss' arm' story, knowing PWI.

pol_pot_rick
- Following Summerslam, there were rumors of a Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar rematch happening at Survivor Series. Word now is that the rematch will likely take place at the October Hell in a Cell PPV. Lesnar's contract runs through WrestleMania 29, and it is expected that the company will offer Lesnar a contract extension before then. Lesnar is said to be happy with his current deal, due to the amount of money he makes with the limited dates. After the buyrate for Extreme Rules (Lesnar's return match) came in below expectations, it is felt that the SummerSlam buyrate will play a big factor in how much WWE is willing to offer Lesnar. Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted August 28, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted August 28, 2012 (edited) Sounds good to me! Â If there's one thing the HIAC ppv needs, it's a feud that actually warrants taking place inside it. This fits the bill, easily. I expect brutality. Should be awesome!
