SK8_WAR
According to WWE.com, these teams were more boring than McGillicutty and Otunga:  Well Dunn Tekno Team 2000 The Beverly Brothers Furnas & LaFon Lo Down The Basham Brothers The Dicks The Gymini  http://www.wwe.com/inside/wwefeaturepage/m...oring-tag-teams  Agree or not? LeeVilenski
Not exactly Otunga and McGillicutty's fault, is it? Most of their riegn, they were part of the Nexus, which was still at the forefront of the booking. If you are going to think of boring-as tag teams... Major Brothers? (pre-edge heads), What about the Uso's? We all know they are totally over!
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted September 1, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 1, 2011 This whole storyline of burying Otungacutty is one of the most baffling things that the WWE has done in quite some time, and this article just seals it for me. Completely bizarre!
pizzazz941
The whole burying process has been unnecessarily brutal. If they are that boring, why didn't they just lose the titles to 'Air Boom' (worst team name I think I've ever heard, but I trust some member's will have a few gems in that department!) and get sent back to FCW? Â I'm just presuming that they are going to do something with this storyline. What that might be, I have no fucking idea. I don't know if I'm intrigued by all this or not. Paid Members tiger_rick Posted September 1, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 1, 2011 Have WWE ever executed a story properly where someone is boring, a loser, etc and they've triumphantly turned things around? Seem to recollect something with MVP but otherwise, these things just don't work.
Paid Members Shy Dad Posted September 1, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 1, 2011 I'm hoping this is going to finally stop that god awful name of Hennig's and have him be refered to as Michael Hennig or something, saying he's not boring, he's perfect. Â Could finally see Otunga do his A List gimmick he seemed to be trying to get over in season 1. Â Both god awful ideas I know, but it has to be better than intentionally burying two of your future guys on live TV every week surely.

Paid Members Jaffa Posted September 1, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 1, 2011 Lo Down I'm not having that. Â Lo Down were great as Heat regulars/occasional main eventers. If I remember correctly, they got over fairly well and had a sweet double frog splash as a finisher.
Paid Members Shy Dad Posted September 1, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 1, 2011 thought they did a superplex into a frog splash finish?
Moderators PowerButchi Posted September 1, 2011 Moderators Share Posted September 1, 2011 Furnas and Lafon were dull as dishwater though. They were very good at wrestling and all that malarky, but they really didn't translate well to WWF.

Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted September 1, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 1, 2011 The Beverly Brothers were boring?, I must have missed that memo. Â Â Dupree and Suzuki win this by a landslide.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted September 1, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 1, 2011 The Beverly Brothers were boring?, I must have missed that memo. Absolutely dire, I thought. Up there with Tito Santana and IRS as some of the dullest acts they had when I was a kid.
xear
As a heel monster team I liked The Gymini.
