Despite all the injuries and shit leading up to it, it produced a pretty fun main card at least.  Rory MacDonald looked awesome. Aside from round 3 of the Condit fight he's been pretty much untouchable against some good fighters. Wouldn't mind seeing him fight Brian Ebersole actually after both their performances tonight.  Ebersole's GnP was fucking brutal. It's rare you see a guy go out cold from an elbow strike, especially from the guard. I thought Hallman would be too crafty for Ebersole but that was a hell of a pasting he took. Them little knickers were just plain wrong  Belfort/Akiyama went how most expected. Shame to see Akiyama put out like that but at the same time nice to see Vitor get back on track. Despite how the first fight went I think everyone would still like to see Vitor vs Anderson 2 at some point.  I'd love to see Akiyama get 1 more fight, if Hardy got one he should but it might be the end of him.  I've said before and I'll say it again, Akiyama vs Wanderlei on the Japan card next Feb. Last chance for both. It's perfect. It's time to do that fight imo.  Was chuffed Rashad won. As much as we all enjoyed Tito's bit of success last month, Rashad vs the winner of Jones/Rampage is much more interesting than having Tito in there for me. Either way whoever wins between Jones and Rampage we've got a grudge match on our hands.  I thought that was Rashad's most complete showing of his career so far. He looked better on the feet, his wrestling was on, he looked better than he ever has physically and amazingly didn't seem rusty at all. Tito fought his arse off, full credit to him and was refreshing to hear him say Rashad was the better man. Was looking good until Ebersole landed some elbows of doom. Seriously nasty stuff. Hallman's grits Brutal Knee finish for Rashad, When it happened I was waiting for Tito to claim an illegal strike had been thrown. Rashad looked on point, no ring rust at all it seemed. Nice that Tito was humble in defeat too. Had a few quid on Evans by KO, so not feeling so bad after my near miss on the accumulator. Belfort is so scary when hes on. I was expecting a much closer affair and for Akiyama to close the distance and work his grappling a little. Hopefully he will get another fight. Worth it for his ring entrance and general awesomeness. His body position when he was KO'd was rather odd looking too. I thought Rory might go the route of Hathaway, but he looked so comfortable, Made it look a walk in the park. He's gonna get a top guy next surely. Â Good show. Â Hallman's suds. I rewatched the first Tito/Rashad fight on saturday and it was total domination by Tito.
