Dr House's Right Leg
Going to Dropkixx on Sunday to re-start training. I started going a few years ago but I stopped going, hopefully it'll be OK. Â I remember last time it was hard but was worth it.

yullie79
Good luck! Â I'm starting soon also, never done it before and i'm the wrong side of 30.....
JakeRobertsParoleOfficer
age is nothing Mate. Goldberg, Nash, Batista,DDP et didnt start until past 30. Hell even Sting and Warrior were in there mid-late 20's when they started. Age is irrelevant, application, and condition is the key!
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted January 29, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted January 29, 2011 Don't lie. You're going to Gillberg's. Its a great place to train as any. 20-odd year career, 15 month reign as WWF singles champion, appeared on WWF PPV's in the boom period, great bumper, hits a sweet spear. If you need wrestling training, go to Gillbergs.
Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted January 29, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted January 29, 2011 Why even bother?. Unless you're being trained by Terry Funk then there's no chance you'll go on to have a successful "carrear". Give up now.
Michael_3165
Good Luck! I love training and hope a school opens closer again soon. I am big on technical wrestling. Just remember, stay slow and sell!

Give up now. Â Cos its fun? I never wanted to be "The Rock" or "Steve Austin" and I find if people go in with the mentality to put all your effort in (you have to put every effort in to get anything back), have fun and don't take yourself too seriously you are more likely to get more out than you expected. Â Nothing like positive feedback to brighten the day!

Nothing like positive feedback to brighten the day! WHOOSH  Anyways, good luck fella. Dropkixx has produced a lot of decent guys over the years (Wade Barratt anyone? Plus Martin Stone, Leroy Kincaid, Charlie Rage, Sha Samuels etc etc) as well as helping develop/put the finishing touches to a load of other British guys. Who's running it these days?  Not looking good guys. Looking in to getting there it'll take 2.5 hour to get there. If you want it enough, you'll deal with the travel time. Where do you live? Dr House's Right Leg
I did look in to it before but since they've moved location it takes ages.  I live in Croydon, I'm looking to train at Lucha Britannia.  Anyone heard of British Extreme Championship Wrestling??
