Paid Members quote the raven Posted December 19, 2010 Paid Members Share Posted December 19, 2010 I just got back from a time away and caught up with impact. Â I have never liked Jeff in any fed or gimmick. However his MMA thing is pure gold. I found myself waiting until the next weeks seg, only to see him with a cut man LOL. Â Whats everyone elses take on this?
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted December 19, 2010 Paid Members Share Posted December 19, 2010 Its grown into a hoot. He's really funny and surprisingly gets a bit intense with it. He got rid of that daft haircut and went all 1999 on us as well, which is great. Jarrett's MMA gimmick has been class. The Double J, Double M.A gimmick has been a highlight recently. AshC
It's better than actual MMA!
PerfectPlex
It is very funny. I've only seen two segments so far. The TNA live crowd don't seem to like it at all. I'm thinking perhaps it could grow on people and people could get into it.

fye
I had heard loads of positives about this so I watched last night on Bravo expecting it to have been overhyped but its absolutely brilliant, heel Jarrett is always better anyway and I agree on the haircut point but he is better than ever in terms of entertainment in this gimmick, I just fear it has a limited shelf life. Its the most I have been entertained humour wise since Nash was running the X Division skits with Shelley, Ki and co

Loki
The JJ MMA challenge this week was great - Jarrett's got a whole UFC style entourage now, and does a full UFC celebration at the end. Plus, he's using Angle's lift thing in his entrance. Â When Angle finally gets his hands on him, it's going to be red-hot.
The King Of Swing
The TNA live crowd don't seem to like it at all. Â Yeah, but they're total mongs. Â Indeed. Â As for Double J's MMA gimmick its a riot and fair play to Jarrett he has really thrown himself into it.
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted December 21, 2010 Paid Members Share Posted December 21, 2010 JJ beating up kids, perhaps the best thing i've ever seen this year. Agreed, excellent bit of television. Â My favourite bit last week was when Jarrett made his entrance and threw water over this person that looked like he was a giant arse with a head on top. Total scumbag move, but fatty probably stunk of B.O. Â Jarrett has been excellent in playing the deluded heel, trying to prove he didn't sell out and now he's the best MMA' in the world.
