Ant
I'm sure in 1996 people were saying it's a shame that a good act like him won't move beyond ECW. Â Given he wound up in WCW, WWE and TNA my view is the kid did good.
Big Rob
I liked the Stevie shoot, but it's really hampered by RF being a fucking awful interviewer. So many "what are your memories of..." that if you did a drinking game around it, you'd end up getting your stomach pumped before you're half way through the DVD. Ant
The biggest kick in the balls is if the interviewee responds with "what/who/when?" and RF responds "errrm errrm I'm not sure . . . "
IronSheik
Jim Cornette's breaking kayfabe is tremendous, man I love that guy. Such a master story teller, whether you agree or disagree with JC his passion and ability to story tell always makes for enthralling viewing. Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted January 30, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted January 30, 2014 I'm listening to Jacques Rougeau's shoot at the moment in work. He just seems like the nicest bloke.
King Pitcos
I'm listening to Jacques Rougeau's shoot at the moment in work. He just seems like the nicest bloke. I thought that when I watched it as well, but then he gets mentioned in other people's interviews and he's a right snakey bell-end apparently. Yeah, Bad News' shoot doesn't paint him in the best of lights. That's probably my face ever shoot, to be honest, but it is nice to have another side to that story. I haven't watched many shoots from stars of that era. I must grab a few of them down for the car and on slow days in the office.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted February 5, 2014 Author Paid Members Share Posted February 5, 2014 (edited) Paul Roma's shoot is pretty good. An ego bigger than Hogan, Flair and Bret Hart combined. He's an amazing man. He's not an annoying egomaniac, though. He's like a mate who you know is bigging himself up, but you dont mind it. He's a funny fucker. He confirms the rumour that Mr T was supposed to manage the Young Stallions, but never showed up for the TVs. He buries Jim Powers. "Pat dug Jimmy. Jimmy was his candy ass. And they knew I dont get let guys suck my dick". HA! Buries Flair. Has a go at everyone, really. Â "The Hart Foundation and the Legion of Doom told me and Ray we were the best team ever". And right they were as well. Its what I like to call the P/G era. Power and Glory had the whacky sunglasses, the navel cut shirts, the white boots and black tights combo with lightening going through it and an excellent finisher. They were great. Glad to see someone finally give them their props. Fair enough, it was one of the blokes who was actually in the team, but if you aren't going to put yourself over who is? Â Looks great for 53 as well. Amazing what being out of wrestling for 15 years does for you. Paid Members tiger_rick Posted February 5, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 5, 2014 I think that's a really good shoot. You're right, he's full of shit but likable with it. Â Power and Glory best tag team never to hold a title?
Paid Members garynysmon Posted February 5, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 5, 2014 Power and Glory best tag team never to hold a title? JakeRobertsParoleOfficer
Hmmm in wwf id have to go for:  Powers of pain The rockers And of course mega powers  Over P & G first  Fab finisher tho
Pier Six Brawler
Rougeaus were the best tag team to never hold the title IMO. Not counting the Briscos and Freebirds who only had very brief runs in WWF.

Dai
Whats the verdict on the Vader Timeline? Vader's RF shoot is tremendous, so Ive got reasonably high expectations for this.
