Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted August 1, 2011 Author Paid Members Share Posted August 1, 2011 (edited) that's not true. Mondo didn't retire because of injuries, he retired cause he didnt wanna do it anymore. He said that his plan was to always wrestle for a couple or years then quit, that's why he did so much crazy shit, because longevity was never in his mind, it was never a long time career move. He does say he tried to make a bit of a comeback and do non-hardcore stuff but after some shady deals with promoters he decided to pack it in altogether and concentrate on film making. A lot of wrestlers plan to retire early, but before and since he's made no bones about the fact that injuries made him make that decision earlier than he wanted to. It was a smart decision on his part as well. If he was feeling that terrible at the age of 23, god knows how he'd have been if he'd have carried on. Paid Members Taylorslade Posted August 1, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted August 1, 2011 Has anybody seen the Mike Graham shoot? I'm just asking because I'm curious about his thoughts on the Benoit murder case, seeings as he knew Nancy well, and had history with Benoit in WCW with the Kevin Sullivan thing, and I've heard that he has a completley different theory on it than everyone else has. Tommy Atkins
Has anybody seen the Mike Graham shoot? It's quite a good shoot. The bit where he tells the story of his dad's suicide gets very emotional.

Cousin Jim Bob
Timeline Of WWE 1997 Featuring Jim Cornette is out now in the usual places. Even if you are burned out on Cornette shoots this is well worth a look. Â 1997 was one hell of year for crazy things going on in the WWE and getting Cornette's viewpoint about all the big stories is fascinating. I would highly recommend this. Its one of the best shoots I have seen in a long time.

Paid Members garynysmon Posted September 19, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) Just watched the One Man Gang/Akeem shoot. Nothing special to be honest. Edited September 19, 2011 by garynysmon
Shovanist Pig
Just been watching the Jon Heidenreich shoot. It isn't half bad. Jon seems like a respectable and honest bloke. He brings up some good points about the working environment in WWE and what they expect of you (too much it seems). You can tell he respects the business and the fans which is always nice to hear. Â Apparently there's a child molester up in Stamford. Â The world is still waiting to find out what ''Little Johnny'' meant too. Paid Members garynysmon Posted September 28, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 28, 2011 (edited) Anyone seen the Guest Booker with Jerry Jarrett? Â I must say, Keyfabe Commentaries is by far my favourite company for this kind of thing. Sean Oliver seems pretty cool and Youshoot is a marvellous concept.
