Well, that's Celtic's Champions League exploits over then.

Do they drop into the Europa League?

Ok Mystic Meg.

Poor performance from us. The only problem I have with Lennon is whenever we've went a goal down, he's looked lost. Looked the same against Ross County. We've turned over better teams by 3 goals at CP though and hopefully we can do it again, I'm not counting on it though.

Massive over-reaction on Celtic forums tonight though, it's our first game with a brand new team who have never played a competitive game together, they obviously need time to gel.

As far as what happens after this round, if we go out, we drop into the Europa League 4th Qualifying round.

As badly as Celtic have performed, I get the feeling that Rangers fans won't have it much better this season, so they may want to hold back a little on the smug behaviour for now.

um we know we wont be doing anything in europe, spl crown is what matters most.

Maybe Celtic think the same?

Based on tonight, you might not be too far off.

As a neutral, I have to say that Celtic are probably still trying to bed in their new players.

They will improve i'd reckon.

Lets just say it was one game with new players playing in a big game i wouldn.t have had soo many new players in the team but im not lenny.

The team will prove and i would say the league is a must this season...

As for rangers fans giggling like girls i would worry about there own team...

I know it's a 'bedding in' period and that winning the league back is the priority this season instead of a decent European campaign - I thought we were absolutely dreadful last night. Mulgrew was abhorrent in the left back position and he looked out of his depth and unable to cope with the demands of what was a very poor Celtic team. If he is to be our first choice left back, then paint me fraught with worry.

I think the thing I'd be worrying about if I was a Celtic fan would be that if they drop into the Europa League, Braga are pretty much your standard Europa League team and being pumped off them doesn't bode well if they want to have a wee European run.

Regarding Mulgrew I said the following to Deaq in the transfer after he suggested Mulgrew should be in the Scotland squad.

A defender who's defending is, well suspect at best.

Granted at points he was a shining light in our team last season (wouldnt have taken much) but he was being taken to the cleaners by Hamilton, Killie's and St Johnstone's wingers.

Dead ball specialist - Yes, Defender - No.

I can't blame him for taking Celtic's offer but he is nowhere near good enough to be at either of the Old Firm.

Even when Mulgrew was at Aberdeen, I thought he should be a left midfielder not a defender.
