Paid Members Up Chuck Posted September 4, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 4, 2013 You get tribal fingers-in-the-ears attitudes like that everywhere, though. Just look at Sheffield United fans' "Justice for Ched" campaign.
Forrest
That festival is tempting, just a shame that it's such a trek away. Is anyone seeing Mainliner on their first ever UK tour? Bloody good japanese noisey psychedelic rock led by Kawabata of Acid Mothers Temple (who are also playing here soon).  I AM! They're playing the 13th Note up here in a couple of weeks, with support from Los Tentakills who are always a riot. Also, looking forward to AMT myself.  I like the BT logo, it's not really high art, but it does the job that it needs to do.
KingOfMetal
My brother has just informed me that Rammstein are playing the Big Day Out Festival in Australia & New Zealand next January, for anyone who may be interested/live there. Its not listed on either website yet, but was featured on the TV advert last night and on New Zealand national news

He was supposed to have beat his girlfriend unconscious then raped her repeatedly.

Richie Freebird
I like the BT logo, it's not really high art, but it does the job that it needs to do. I just think, again, like the scribbly black metal logos, that the look of this one sums up the sound brilliantly. In fact, some of the album sleeves (War Master and Realm of Chaos in particular) represent my favourite ever heavy metal album cover artworks. Â A lot of the lyrics and themes obviously pertain to war, devastation, destruction and the extinction of mankind, so during the period of Games Workshop artists teaming up with the band to provide the cover artwork and logo, I thought it was pretty much a match made in heaven (or hell, as the case may be). Growing up as a fan of the Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 models, magazines and artwork of the early / mid

Realm Of Chaos is a good place to start. World Eater is a beast of a tune.
Paid Members SpiritOfTheForest Posted September 5, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 5, 2013 My favourite is Those Once Loyal. It's so good that they've said they won't be releasing any other albums because they simply can't top it which I think is a pretty damn commendable thing to do. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted September 5, 2013 Author Paid Members Share Posted September 5, 2013 the new trailer for the Metallica concert film Through The Never. It looks completely bonkers, i'm gonna have to make a trip to the cinema to see that in full 3D.

Paid Members SpiritOfTheForest Posted September 5, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 5, 2013 I would be if the end result wasn't that I owned a Bolt Thrower shirt! I didn't earn it by queuing for an hour at a festival merch stall which is generally the only means of getting one but it feels good damnit. And it only cost me a couple of cans of carlsberg too! Richie Freebird
I don't really think you can go wrong with Bolt Thrower albums Ebb. Though there are slight sound variations between them, they seem to have kept that
