"- a good feud ending with a crappy match

- a hyped debut followed by the new superstar being reduced to being just-another-wrestler soon after

- a piss-poor ppv or tv episode which looked good on paper beforehand

- a feud that you looked forward to happening, but suffered from sub-par booking once it started or finished too early"

Multiple nominations allowed. Nominations until January 3rd.

The WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony.

Some of the greatest talkers in wrestling history all standing at the podium to make speeches on the same night:

Steve Austin, Vince McMahon, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Terry Funk, Michael Hayes, Jim Ross ...

You would think it would be an unforgettable night full of great speeches like in years gone by, but the stupid decision to televise the show condensed to 1 hour left the wrestlers with less than 5 minutes to talk (only Austin was granted longer) so it was a complete disappointment.

Others:

- Triple H vs Randy Orton in the WrestleMania main event

- The feud between Jeff & Matt Hardy

- The conclusion to the who-was-attacking-Jeff? storyline

HHH vs Randy Orton at Wrestlemania deserves a(nother) mention.

John Morrison. He was being hyped as the man to watch in 2009. It never happened partially due to WWE but also due to his own shortcomings. Perhaps more of a disappointment than an anti-climax, but i'd still like it noted.

Great shouts there. I'll nominate those too.
