The episodes on Michael Jackson, the porn industry and Elvis were good-to-great, but the rest have bored the hell out of me. Unbelievably great throughout, and no other show Ive watched does the 'epic' episodes/finales as good. The last couple of episodes of S1 were superb, but the last 2 episodes of S2 were even better, particularly the last episode. An entire hour of edge-of-your-seat greatness. Â <-- click on 'spoiler' to show/hide the spoiler I though the first few episodes were a little slow, and easily the weakest of the season. Maybe it was down to adjusting to a new Spartacus. On that subject, the new Spartacus was fantastic. Probably even better than the original. Judging from IMDB, the old Naevia just quit, which was a shame. The whole reunion with Crixus was spoiled by the fact it was a different actor. Unlike Spartacus, I wasnt much of a fan of the new Naevia. Looking back, her involvment was the weakest stuff of the season. Â Few other random thoughts: Â - Ashur will go down as one of my favourate villans ever. I was gutted that he had a relatively bland death at the hands of Naevia. Â - Glaber was a good main villan, but nowhere near the greatness of Batiatus. Â - Considering it was the main story of the mini series, I thought more should have been done with Gannicus and Oenomaus. Gannicus' accent seems to change from episode to episode, too. Â - Crixus is the only person left to have been in every episode, which is crazy when you think about it. Are they still pushing the rivalry between the Black Knight and that other guy. Who seems to own the company/promotion. He's also the top Jouster. Paid Members Snake Plissken Posted September 8, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted September 8, 2012 Thanks to Netflix I have finally got around to watching some of these TV series that everyone's been on at me about. I've watched all of Arrested Development now and consider myself a bit of a fan, so with Netflix commisioning season 4 and a possible I am very pleased. (That and getting a tweet from Henry 'The Fonz' Winkkler the other day) Â Just started Breaking Bad last night and im only a couple of episodes in, but Im hooked already. Â Started Flashpoint (Not because Amy jo Johnson from Power Rangers is in it, no sir not at all), but the first episode hasn't really grabbed me yet. Has anyone seen this? Is it worth sticking with? Â Others on the list are Storage Wars, Jericho & Rescue Me. Anyone recommend or suggest any others worth loking at. Also anyone whose seen any that i've mentioned give me any feednback on them?
