stewdogg
Taylor vs Manley, who could've scripted that? I'd love Manley to smash him up.
C/WMark Please!
Adrian Lewis has been confirmed as being the second wildcard entry for the Premier League. Â Simon Whitlock was the first announced.
The Cum Doctor
Stunning DPL lineup for this year. Â Especially with Ronnie Baxter on sensational form. Lewis and Whitlock are the perfect wildcards.
Baz Windham
Lewis does deserve it but i'd have liked a bit more 'wild' wildcard . Giving it to the No7 in the world seems to deafeat the point a little. But yeah, cracking line-up Edited January 13, 2010 by Baz Windham
The Cum Doctor
My guess is that the other wildcard would have gone to the BDO World Champ if it was someone worth giving it to. Â Ade Lewis was just kind of like a fall back.
Barearse
Any good darts fan should be watchin itv4 about now. Nicholson is finishing with unbelievable darts. Quality!!!
hbk4life
Nicholson is great on his finishing tonight, 3/3 on the bull! If he can keep checking out when given half a chance then he has this. If he does win then I think King will hammer him.
Magnum Milano
6 out of 6 on the finishes, 4 ton plus outs, 3 bull finishes including a 170. Nicholson has looked awesome so far, but I will be rooting for the King either way in the final.
hbk4life
Ofcourse he hits a bad patch after I say that! Taylor to win by one leg like he did against Jenkins and Lloyd maybe?
Magnum Milano
7 out of 7 now, really needs to hold after breaking Taylor.
hbk4life
Great game, alright scoring but great check outs did it for Nicholson. When he missed the two darts for the match at 9-8 up I thought he had blew it but good on him for pulling out that last leg. I think King will take this final pretty easily now though. But i'll be supporting Nicholson. Edited January 31, 2010 by hbk4life
The Cum Doctor
Phil Taylor lost 10-9 in the end to Paul Nicholson. Â I really thought Nicholson had completely lost the bottle in the end, but then dramatically hit double 5 for the win. Cracking match and always nice to see Taylor lose. hbk4life
Well i'm glad I was wrong! Paul Nicholson takes the final 13-11, well deserved.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted February 1, 2010 Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2010 Well, I'm waiting to Tony Fleet to rule the Premier League.
Baz Windham
Â Wow. That was some day and night for Paul Nicholson. Beating Lewis, King and of course and especially Taylor takes some doing. Amazing that he broke Taylor's throw to win after losing two legs and finished on the Double 5. To do that, then beat King showed he is tough. Seemed like a real breakthrough day for him, I like him, he's a bit of a character and a very good player to watch. For all his playing up to crowd he seems like a decent chap in his interviews, although a little odd. Â I enjoyed the rapid tournament as a whole but I think it should be a bit longer. Two people in 3 games in ones day is a bit much Edited February 1, 2010 by Baz Windham
