I looked him up and what little coverage I could find is clearly bought and glorified press releases in local 'papers, and mentions of matches with, mostly, nobodies. A couple of people I'd heard of, but checked their Twitter and never saw a mention of him.

Anything I've been able to find is just that he's a nutter and a no-hoper, but is there anything more to it than that?

@King Mal the Glorious I only just found out about that last night. If I’ve got the day off work I might check it out as it’s only an hours drive or so, but there’s a lot on there I’ve never heard of (pretty everyone except for Afsky, A Forest of Stars, Winterfylleth and Saor)

All the more reason to support your local scene. Mastiff have just announced a show for June 2nd that’s Free Entry or pay what you feel. 
Granted the show is happening in a teeny tiny practice space, but there’s still plenty of shows at grassroots level to support.

As for FFAF, we’ve had the conversation several times now (probably as recently as 3 weeks ago with the Gojira tour) but it’s a mix of ticket sales & merch being where the money is now (as well as expensive VIP Packages), but also knowing there are people that will pay that amount (see also expensive VIP Packages).

Would I pay that much for something like that? Absolutely not, but there are plenty of people that will

I hear you @SuperBacon and agree that it is lazy song writing, however it does stop the online detectives trying to decipher the shit out of it like a Bray Wyatt vignette.

I absolutely loathe the "you hit me, I hit you, you hit me, I hit you" spot that is now in every AEW match.  I know it's come from strong style, or King's Road, or whatever it is, and is meant to show fighting spirit, but nothing takes me out of the suspension of disbelief like this.   Mox and Hangman did it, which makes no sense in a street fight scenario.  Mox talking about who'd walk out of that dark alley, not the bloke saying "go on, chop me", that's for certain.
