  1. I want to hear Bret Hart about Jay White just standing there holding Komamder’s hand while he’s bouncing around.

Didn’t know Shawn Spears was back with an another gimmick. Presumably Bullet Club Gold are going to steal his Bingo winnings

I've used them before, they're legit. Saw Book of Mormon and Back to The Future with really good seats for £25 each on their same day 'rush' tickets.

If you live in London especially its worth putting putting some of the shows you want to see on a the Rush or Lottery lists.

Cheers for that. Just gone and booked teo Totoro tickets for towards the end of February.

Pre-sale emails have started coming in, purchased through todaytix in the end.

Have you used TodayTix before? Never heard of them until today.

I saw Paramore on the Riot tour, which I guess was 2005-ish? If they're half as good as they were back then you'll be in for a great night

Isn’t a completely different band now? And pretty much just Paramore in name only?

Tickets were so scarce towards the end of the run last time, I sold mine to someone who was in the show for their mates!

It did seem to take a bit for tickets to start shifting, but I’m pretty that once it got close to opening it was virtually sold out.

With the success of the first run and the positive reviews I’d expect this to sell fairly quickly, I’ve already cleared it with my boss to allow me to duck out of work for 15 minutes to try and secure some tickets for around late February. Assuming that it does sell well (which it will) I don’t see why the RSC wouldn’t give it an annual run around that Christmas/New Year period, whether that be at Barbican or elsewhere

THE THINGS THAT CAN HAPPEN ON A SNOOKER TABLE.

Edit - they've got one poor fucker out there with a Henry Hoover trying to sort this out. No way play is resuming tonight.

To quote a Sean Lock bit, “that’s sort of like turning up at the scene of an Earthquake with a dust pan & brush.

In all seriousness though, extremely slow reactions from the security. Luckily it wasn’t some nutter with a weapon

  7. I know that Talk TV is down at the bottom of the barrel along with GB News, but it does throw up the odd bit of genuine comedy rather than nutters complaining everything they don’t like  to be woke

    Thrashin’ (1986) Amazon Prime

Highly enjoyable cult skateboarding movie.  Starring a very young and frankly gorgeous Josh Brolin amongst a cast of near-miss Brat Packers, there’s a wafer thin Romeo and Juliet plot about star crossed lovers from two different skate gangs but the real star is the beautifully shot skateboarding sequences around LA, all low angles and tie-die colours. Cameos from Tony Hawks, some other skaters and an extremely early Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

    Thumbs up!

All I needed to hear. I’m out!

Can't really count ROH since it means Lvl Up and Main Event would have to be included. That's without factoring all the other promotions that are producing weekly TV.

There's an easy complaint over AEW diluting the product. Particularly with high school clique nonsense. Doesn't really need to factor in other companies.

Completely forgot they were even a thing. But that’s the point, 15hrs of weekly TV between the main two promotions, and thats before you include the PPVs as well, and as you say before you factor in other smaller promotions. Who has the time to sit and watch that much stuff every week

    The Pope's Exorcist

like a nicolas cage film it being good or bad isn't really applicable. Russel Crowe elevates an identikit exorcism movie with a bit of fat marlon Brando wackiness.

Russel's mode of transport is a vespa scooter, seeing him at his heaviest in full priest gear putting around on a little scooter is worth the price of admission. The scooter was Russel's idea.

Also he does a funny italian accent and Franco Nero is in it.

You nearly had me with your Crowe on a Vespa description, but you definitely hooked me with Franco Nero, i.e. the most handsome man to ever exist, so I’ll definitely watch this at some point.
Might even watch Django tonight, stupid sexy Nero

Definitely FTR and Punk vs Goldberg with Bret Hart at ringside. Leg slaps banned. Georgia Smith as the guest ring announcer. Harry as the guest ref. Diana on commentary. Picture of Dynamite Kid in the Sky Box.

The Sky Box is closed. Someone lost the key card.

Some have come out saying that it doesn’t say it’s a PPV, so therefore it must only be a house show.
Are people fucking right in the head? As if they’re going to book Wembley fucking Stadium for their debut UK show and not bring the cameras

OK i got a travel lodge booking first thing this morning.

The hotel is now showing as sold out.

It’s going to sell out the stadium isn't it?

Depends, how big is the Travel Lodge?

  13. I don’t think they’ll be under any illusion that they’ll fill the place from the off. Sell it section by section then open up sections further back. 40,000+ will be very respectable.

But as others have said, you’ve got to admire the ambition.

This weeks episode of Raw is the 3rd LOWEST RATED SHOW EVER on Cagematch.net

    https://www.cagematch.net/?id=1&view=statistics&page=2

Only Heroes of Wrestling and a 2010 nXt with 0 matches are lower.

Oh behave!* Old Man Yells At Cloud as I may sound, they don’t realise how good they’ve got it. Was it a great show? No. Was it even an average show? Probably not, but Theory v Rey was decent as was Street Profits v KO & Zayn.
Yeah, they got screwed with the promise of a tag match that even Stevie Wonder could see wasn’t going to happen, but we’ve presumably got Cody v Brock on the horizon now, that’s massive

    *Not you, the reviewers
