  1. Perfectly aware, I rarely watch the livefeed but I'm sure there are a lot who do watch it and was simply making the point of how lazy they were being by putting the same show on three times in a row.

All these promises of original content and spending a ridiculous amount of money on it ($75m some have predicted) and nearly half of the day is taken up by one program over and over

  2. Going to do a double header at cinema tomorrow. Guardians Of The Galaxy followed by the new Sin City.

I've never read any of GOTG comics, so hopefully it'll be accessible enough, whereas I'm a huge Sin City fan. It's had a shocker of an opening in the US, only taking $6.4m by yesterday, which is 78% less than the first film 9 years ago, made all the worse when ticket inflation & 3D ticket prices factored in

  3. Really wish they would update the ECW/WCCW TV sections more often.

This has probably already been asked and answered so sorry in advance but does anyone know how many episodes Monday Night War will last?

It's been said that there is going to more WCCW and ECW TV added towards the end of the year/early 2015.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that it was to be a 20 part series. Depends how in-depth they are going to get with the series. I wasn't too keen on the first episode. While yes there was some new talking heads, it did feature a lot of footage cobbled together from past releases/documentaries. The most recent comments from Ted Turner were from nearly 20 years ago. It wasn't bad, but not what I was expecting either.

I'm going to stick with it though, hopefully it will turn out ok.

On the flip side, I've just watched the Journey to Summerslam: Destruction of The Shield, which was a great watch and it was nice to see some of the outside footage for Ambrose and Rollins (footage from ROH, CZW, Dragon Gate USA all featured), while Reigns had some of his college foootball footage show. While it showed how Rollins and Ambrose clawed their way in from the indie scene, it didn't really shy away from Reigns just having a word with his dad and strolling into FCW because of it.

Other than that, a great watch. WWE should definitely be making more of this type of thing for the network, rather that Vickie Guerrero countdown thing

  4. It truly was. I had it on in my car, and there were a couple of points were I just said to myself "what the fuck is this shit?". I only stuck it out for the Mathias Japs interview which was actually ok despite Jericho's blatant exercise in hero worship and Japs' thinking that Scorpions are still a huge act. "We're big in the UK still", they haven't played here for nearly 6 years and were playing similar places to what Spinal Tap would

  5. The new Opeth album, Pale Communion, is streaming. Head over to Metal Hammer's website for the details.

I'm going to wait until it's gets delivered through the door as I like to just lay down and take it in and play on my stereo rather than through my laptop speakers.

Looking forward to it. If it's anywhere near as good as Heritage was we're in safe hands. People complained about that album because it didn't have 'metal vocals' on it, but that's just people being daft as Damnation didn't have any either and that's lauded over. Heritage was a great

  6. I don't think he's said anything untoward, but he does seem to be mentioning Warrior at every opportunity in a 'hey look! We made up and were bessy mates and then he died' kind of way. Similar to how he and savage "buried the hatchet" just before Savage snuffed it

  7. This coming Thursday at 1am UK time on the network, there is a new 'Original Special' entitled Journey To Summerslam focusing on Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns. This will be similar to the Daniel Bryan 'Journey To Wrestlemania XXX' special from earlier in the year.

Also, a graphic has been sent out with emails regarding Network renewals

Stating that The Monday Night Wars series will debut by the end of August, as well as confirming two other series; Rivalries (premiering October) and season two of Countdown (premiering in November)
