Okada was certainly not a happy boy post-match.
Of course there is always the possibility that this is all a work to build to a singles match down the line between the two of them, but if it fires up Okada then Iâm all for it

The most interesting Okada had been for 3 years.Â

Was thinking the same thing. Takes him 20 minutes to get fired up at the best of times

Looking forward to the re-releases when they replace the guns with walkie-talkiesÂ

The Thing is one my favourite films full stop, not just of Carpenters, but just look at those choices. Such an incredible body of work.
I only watched Escape From New York for the time the other night and I was so annoyed at myself afterwards for having not seen it years ago

Whereâs the talk of Vince back in creative? Genuinely feel Iâve missed this story. Last I read they held a talent meeting and Trips was explicit that the creative process wonât be changing.
Apparently theyâre in the middle of another right now

@RalphyV2, you've received some great advice in this thread that I'm hoping you'll take on board, but allow to add my own particular take on it as regards to my own posting.
While (to my knowledge) I've never been nominated for Dolt of the Year, which could well mean that my contributions are either largely inconsequential or just don't rub people up the wrong way, a couple of years back I got called out for constantly posting Simpsons Memes from Frinkiac. Clearly, I love a good Simpsons reference as much as some others do on here, but it riled somebody up enough that they felt the need to comment on it. That's where you need to take a moment to think about what you're about to post. Running jokes are fine, but take a moment to think about whether or not you're maybe running with it too much. That's not to say that I no longer post a Simpsons joke/reference every now & again if I think it might get a laugh out of someone, but there have been plenty of times where I've stopped and not posted something because of the groans it will receieve.
Other times there have been posts where I've made a complete tit of myself, I think it was @SuperBacon who called me out on a comment I made about Harrison Ford a few months back. And they were absolutely right to do so because looking back at it, it was a daft thing to post, but you learn from it by being called out on it or by being nominated in Awards such as this. I'm not saying that you need to analyse everything you ever post to the Nth degree, but just take a moment before hitting 'Submit Reply'.

If the Jags win I could see Vince sending them a battered version of one of the belts just with a Jacksonville Jaguars sticker on it. Like how the Hardcore Title was a battered old WWF Title beltÂ

Did he ever find out if Bret Hart sold the mansion back to Mr Burns?

Haven't they already spoilt the American one though by including minor celebrities amongst the contestants? I'll still watch it and most likely get obsessed, but it's a shame they couldn't run a normal version first before doing the gimmicks.
The word âcelebrityâ gets thrown around a lot these days it would seem. If you hadnât mentioned it I donât how many of us would have been any the wiser. Genuinely no idea who any of them(spoilered below) were until I did a quick google. One of them can probably lay claim to having accomplished something resembling major achievements.
SpoilerArie Luyendyk Jr., Brandi Glanville, Cirie Fields, Cody Calafiore, Kate Chastain, Kyle Cook, Rachel Reilly, Reza Farahan, Ryan Lochte, Stephenie LaGrossa

The plan was to only do games I have the cartridges for but iâll gets roms if anyone wants a specific game!
Donât get messing around with ROMs if that wasnât your plan, itâs just because The Firemen is one of those games that every should know about. Itâs tremendous fun with a fair difficulty curve

Looking forward to @FelatioLipsâs review of The Firemen.Â

9/11 was allowed to happen in order to stir up public support for an invasion of Iraq.
Somewhere in the back of my mind I'm sure I saw something about how declassified documents showed that the FBI/NSA/similar knew in advance about the 1993 bombing of the WTC, and allowed it to happen as they felt the risk to life was justifiable in relation to the intelligence they'd continue to gain from the perpetrators.Â
When 9/11 came round, they again allowed it to happen because they could use it to justify invading Iraq, under the guise of it being retaliation. They figured a plane hitting the Tower would be similar to when a plane crashed into the Empire State Building. A monumental (in the literal sense of the word) amount of damage, a few dozen deaths, and fuel for the cause.
Unfortunately, they underestimated the amount of death and destruction that occurred. This is why when George Bush was given the news at the school he was visiting, his reaction was more in line with someone thinking "What have I done?".
Maybe it was just because it wasn't as mental as the hologram planes hiding missiles, lasers from space, controlled demolition, or those that think the towers are still there and are being hidden in some way, but it's not implausible.
So your saying that George W watched Wag The Dog?

I know you said to keep it light, but âBob Ross was a serial killer and his paintings were of where the bodies are buriedâ has always been my favourite just because of how ridiculous it is

Preparing myself to pay ÂŁ120+ for the night
Depends how much you want to slum it. Holiday Inn in Croydon is ÂŁ69 for the night. North Greenwich (Jubilee Line) to Canada Water, change to London Overground to West Croydon, should take you around 40 minutes to get there,
It does mean staying in Croydon though

With the o2 and London in general getting big events regularly and having plenty of hotel capacity, would this be less of an issue than in Cardiff? Â I havenât been to any big shows in London so genuinely donât know the impact it would have.
I get what youâre saying, but if Iâd booked a hotel nearby this time last week before they announced it for the exact same dates I expect it wouldâve been cheaper

How easy is it to get between the O2 and Camden? I'll likely stay around there and find a dirty rock club if one is open for the night.
Jubilee Line from North Greenwich (which is directly outside the O2), change to the Northern line at Waterloo which will take you to Camden Town. Should take you around 30 minutes.

So a proper PPV is coming to the UK again, I didn't see this coming.
I was thinking that they were getting rid of the gimmick PPV shows like this.
Â
I think after the success of Clash at the Castle it was only a matter of time before they brought something over here. Iâd read that they were doing away with MITB as a PPV too (Iâd prefer it to go back to being a match at Wrestlemania), but clearly theyâve reconsidered and if theyâre looking to more PPVs over here (perhaps per year but not the same time of year each time), then itâs worth keeping around.
I would imagine all the hotels have jacked up their prices already

I would imagine nothing much will change until the BT Sports deal comes up. No idea when that is exactly, Iâd assume it was at least a 5 year deal and itâs just coming up on 3 years since it moved to BT from Sky, so it could still be a while until any change occurs.
I reckon that once the deal comes up it will get gobbled up into some other package like it has been doing in other areas
