Wasn’t sure where to stick this but it looks as though Wayne Rooney is going to come out of internatioanl retirement for a one-off match between England and the USA at Wembley, where he’ll earn a 120th cap. The game will be used to raise funds for the Wayne Rooney Foundation, so it’s almost more of a testimonial than anything else. I can see why people think it’s a bit over-indulgent, but if it’s in a charity setting then I don’t mind to be honest. He’s actually been playing well for DC United too, so it’s not like he’ll stink the pitch out while he’s there.

I thought pointless friendlies were being scrapped in favour of the League of Nations thing they're doing? Seems very odd considering he's not played for the national team for the last two years. I think most football fans would rather see Rooney give a week's wage to charity rather than make us suffer another shitty international.

  4. I'm not really a fan of Queen but they're one of those bands you could put a Greatest Hits album on and enjoy it. I like Freddie Mercury and John Deacon but think that Brian May and Roger Taylor come across as a pair of massive bellends.

I always thought that was widely accepted fact.

I love going there personally but readily accept it's shit.

I thought I loved going there but went yesterday with my daughter for the first time and hated it. Took an hour to find a parking space, everywhere was crowded and the shops sold wall to wall shit. We went for some pub grub for dinner that had a play pit and that the most vile children I've ever seen there. They were chucking balls at each other, other kids and the poor staff. Pure chav central. I get the appeal but not for me Jeff.

A young woman has, sadly, gone missing. And the two photos used to spread the word around Facebook are one that looks like a massive airbrush and another where she's a cat with glasses on. Jesus.

I've joked amongst friends that this would happen in the future. Some poor kid goes missing and the only pic of them involves a flowery head band or filtered dog ears and slavering tongue. Sad to hear about an actual example of this.

Who the fuck is brushing their teeth in the shower?

I always brush my teeth in the shower. I'd be happy to do the majority of my daily tasks in there if it was feasible. Not public/shared showers mind you. That would be weird.

I've said it before on here: the term "virtue-signalling" is a wanker's term, created for wankers to be used by wankers. Basically, these people can't wrap their heads around the idea that others might have a strong enough sense of justice or morality that they wish to express their values either via action or words, and therefore think they could only possibly be doing it to show off to others, particularly women.

    Calm down you millennial snowflake.
