If I won the lottery...

Every time I buy a lottery ticket, which isn't often, I start daydreaming about the whole thing. Seeing the numbers come up, calling to confirm my win, them sending the dude round, giving my friends some money, sorting my mum out...all the good shit. Fucking off out of England for a considerable length of time. All the fancy shit I could buy. Not, I repeat not, going public with my win.

Is everybody here incredibly happy or do they also daydream about what they'd do if they won? Share with us.

I'm a daydreamer like you, SpursRiot. Sort out a nice house, send some nice people on holidays, some charitable donations, the usual general stuff, but with occasional specifics thrown in - one of my most recent ticket buys (it's not something I do often) followed a click onto the Sotheby's Upcoming Sales website. 'ooh, I'd have that', I thought, 'lottery ticket time. Maybe I'll win'. I didn't. But it'd be fun to be a bidder at a Sotheby's auction. Occasionally, I'll have a very far-fetched thought like putting on a wrestling legends show for UKFFers to get together and attend... but then a few seconds later I'll probably realise that's not the best use of the money.

I may get a ticket tomorrow now. I've got a good feeling.

It depends which me is in charge at the time I guess, but one side would love to just buy my soon to be moved into house in full, retire and spend my days getting up late, going down the gym and sitting in the pub. A bit like when I was out of work really. I'd totally buy an old 1960's Camaro or Mk3 Capri just to indulge myself though.

I would do my best to tell no one outside my parents and send them some, donate a little out to a charity now and then and set up some small sums in trust for my two sisters group of kids.

When I got bored I'd start doing bookkeeping part time.

I don't think I've ever done the lottery more than three or four times. I'm going to buy one tomorrow though. If I win then I'll put on a legends UKFF event.

Who would be getting a booking though, beside Kongo Kev and Harvey Stringfellow.

I always have this daydream.  I haven't put the lottery on in ages though.  I guess now is the time to become a regular again and indulge my daydreams a little more with the ever so slight possibility that they may come true

Well, the one I'd put on with my winnings would feature a Sid Squash Match Showcase, for starters.

I'm very confident about tonight. Usually when I get a lucky dip I get a bunch of sequential numbers. Yeah, I know it doesn't ACTUALLY make a difference but in my head it does. My numbers tonight sound like winning numbers.

EDIT: I just checked and I didn't win.

I’d do the usual: buy a home and deck it out with my dream items (pool table, a bar etc). I’d then block-buy driving lessons and when I got my licence, buy a replica Tumbler. I’d also fly myself out to New York, buy a penthouse there, and then fly across to the west coast and visit California and then Las Vegas.

And of course start up a star-studded, UK-based professional wrestling promotion.

If I won I'd be up and away before letting anyone know, and then be super-protective of my new address. When some people in my town won, the local press made it a bit obvious where they lived, and a year later they were still getting letters from complete strangers addressed simply to "The Millionaires".

Aside from travelling, a shit load of my money would go on a house that I'd then alter / completely rebuild to match my mish-mash of tastes, and incorporate a creative facility. Recording studio, photographic studio, editing suite, etc.. Lots of rooms in different styles so they can double as sets.

Not sure if I'd set up a wrestling promotion myself, I'd probably sink some money into an established one so they can have a flashier stage, or better ring lights or something.

What I would consider doing is running music events, with some shameless booking of myself as a marquee act. To get the band up and running, I'd possibly employ the other musicians and put them on a wage, rather than go through the usual arse or having one guy who's not really into it and hasn't learnt his part, and another who's missus think he's too old for playing pop stars.

I've never even considered looking at Sotheby's, but I'd probably buy a lot of stupid shit too. And the cars that I had on posters as a kid.

Sadly I'd be sensible. The couple of million you would get for a lotto win I'd set myself up worth a good house, some great cars, then be back to work after a 3 month break. Then use the money to have great holidays, and retire early.

If I won the euro millions, I'd be making Dan Bilzerian look like mr bean
