wrestlingmad
Just had a rather interested update on my facebook newsfeed from the TNA UK page. Â A message from Jeremy Borash:
Swift89
There was rumours they wanted to do Bound for Glory here.
Mr Posh
If they had any brains they would do a ppv here. When their average ppv buyrate is only 17,000, I am pretty sure that those are the people that are loyal enough to buy it whether it is live or not, plus I am sure the live gate of a UK audience would easily offset any loss in PPV revenue. Sexy Dad
I'd be more than happy with an impact taping over here, hopefully in Manchester as it's closer for me and the M.E.N has been a great arena to shoot live output in. Not sure whether Wembley Arena has ever hosted a taping of any kind before. If it was Bound for Glory that was over here however it would be bloody brilliant. Ant
I'd expect a bold move on TNA's part could even be announcing a Summer/Autumn tour. Â It would probably generate fans willing to travel if they wanted to leave the established venues until next January (so for example it could include Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, and Cardiff). Richie Freebird
Not sure whether Wembley Arena has ever hosted a taping of any kind before  Cage Rage MMA used to tape some of thier matches there, the MEN is a squillian times better. PBWFan
the small tidbit about the BWC's relationship with TNA, in FSM a few months ago... it confirmed that TNA would be returning later in 2011 but didnt say why or anything. was just a sentence. Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted February 28, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted February 28, 2011 I'd rather have a PPV. Can't be arsed with paying money to see some of the shite we get on iMPACT!. The wrestling matches to segments ratio must be hard to sit through for 4 hours.
Slapnut
It's probably just another January tour. Can't imagine it actually being big news.
Risk
It's probably just another January tour. Can't imagine it actually being big news. I agree. 9/10, TNA's 'big news' never fails to dissapoint.
Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted February 28, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted February 28, 2011 Maybe they have bought NUFC seeing as Vince doesn't want it anymore. Â In serious, i'd be happy if they eventually announced a show at the arena in the toon. WWE do every year, i'd go and see TNA if they stopped off. Dazz
The big announcement will prolly be something ridiculous like "We're funding challenge to be HD so you get HD impact", Or something pretty trivial. Â If they give the UK a PPV tho, Kudos to them. Maybe get the WWE to get their finger out and give their fanbase here more credit.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted February 28, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted February 28, 2011 TNA in HD would be a far bigger deal for me than havign a PPV or Impact over here. I wouldn't go to a live show, but HD every week would be sweet. Impact on Friday nights would be even sweeter. And in HD.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted February 28, 2011 Moderators Share Posted February 28, 2011 If Challenge goes HD, I'll buy an England shirt. Â Â You watch, they'll go HD now.
