David
Mcbride is a gross looking human. He should have been fighting in the final against Sprott though, that's for sure. Â The referee not registering that knockdown was criminal, as it would have given McBride the fight on points.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted October 14, 2010 Author Paid Members Share Posted October 14, 2010 i missed it! i was planning on watching Monday, but looked in the paper monday morning and saw a big picture of Sprott holding the trophy. Glad i didn't bother now
JesusChrist
Yeah shocking by the ref for the not giving the count of seeing the knockdown. Thats the 2nd terrible decision in boxing by a ref in the past few weeks the other being the ref for letting the fight go on after the first knockdown in the maccareneli fight. That's a cracking set of fights right there! Don't forget; there's also Froch/Abraham and Ward/Bika on the 27th November. December's shaping up nicely, too: Khan/Maidana, Wlad/Chisora, Showtime Bantamweight Tournament, B-Hop/Pascal, and Warren's show in Liverpool. Can't wait. Sergio Bellend
The majority will be on sky sports but I think all the fights on the 13th will be put together on one big show on sky box office, Â Jeepers, your hopeful. More like the minority of those fights will be on Sky Sports. Of that November list, only the Matthew Hatton fight and Prizefighter is confirmed for sky sports. Obviously Haye v Harrison is on Box Office, possibly with Pacquiao v Margarito with it but thats far from 100%. Â That'll be it, barring them picking something unlikely up. Â I believe Sky are trying to pick up Marquez Vs Katsidis as the winner is a strong contender for the next Khan fight. The others like the Judah fight I will probably end up getting from US traders or streams or maybe Showcase will pick them up.
mikey
I must say that when he looks back on the fight game, Froch can know that when he got to a world level, he never took an easy fight. He never did one for the money and that makes him pretty rare in boxing, rarer still amongst British boxers.
