fraserbee Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I remember him having a couple of matches, although I had no idea who he was. I did think he was cool because nobody in WCW did dives out of the ring at this time. Incidentally, it's amazing how muscular Owen is here.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted March 12, 2012 Moderators Posted March 12, 2012 One to file under "Well, I did not know that" here. Scott Putski in the NWA. 1988.
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted March 12, 2012 Paid Members Posted March 12, 2012 Incidentally, it's amazing how muscular Owen is here. If you look at him in the matches with Jyushin Liger, he's seriously barrel chested. Far broader around the chest and shoulders than Bret ever was.
Shovanist Pig Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Stacy Kiebler, Test, Chris Jericho Segment Shit. Test was a fucking beast. He always had a top level of intensity.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted March 13, 2012 Paid Members Posted March 13, 2012 I love JR getting angry about the phrase 'ass clown' in that clip. "What's an ass clown? What does it mean?! Who invented that phrase?!"
RJ Impact Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Stacy was easily the best looking female/diva in wrestling, just all round stunning
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted March 13, 2012 Paid Members Posted March 13, 2012 Here's something I havent heard before. Its a series of interview with Brian Pillman done between his car accident and his announcement that he was signing with the WWF. Its fascinating to listen to. He's an interesting guy. Didnt know there was rumours that he was coming in as Shawn Michaels brother!

Moderators PowerButchi Posted March 13, 2012 Moderators Posted March 13, 2012 Vince McMahon, Barry O, Superstar Graham, Bruno Sammartino, Herb Meltzer and Pro Bullshitter Murray Hodgson appear on Donahue in 1992 to discuss the WWF sex scandal - The woman at the end is right, if there's Child Abuse how can you not come forward and say you saw it? Wrestlers are weird.
Paid Members JNLister Posted March 13, 2012 Paid Members Posted March 13, 2012 I'll do the plugging later on, but that show aired 20 years ago this month, which is why I watched it recently in researching an article.

Wrestlers are weird. IIRC didn't it turn out Murray was a full on con man. Did he ever make an on screen appearances. He seems the type who would have eventually ended up doing time for something.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted March 13, 2012 Paid Members Posted March 13, 2012 On one show, Vince exposes him in a full on wrestling style angle where it turns out he contacted Vince and asked him for work in exchange for dropping the lawsuit. Vince was in rare form that day. Had a look on his face which read "1-0 you twat". Actually more like 1-1. Vince took a right kicking for a lot of it. Here it is: EDIT: Actually it was a money offer he was after.
