BarryOVega Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Skipped the 6 woman tag but the rest was decent enough, nothing amazing, main event was good I suppose but wasn't the point of the ending the same as Cody's Mania match with Cena? He doesn't have the killer instinct and it costs him? Presumably he'll beat Orton in an I quit or Last Man Standing to prove he can 'go to the dark side' or some bollocks Quote
d-d-d-dAz Posted September 7 Posted September 7 I haven't watched, but the Bleacher Report 'grades' article said that a) Baron Corbin was the show MVP, b) he's been consistently brilliant since he returned, c) he's been historically undervalued by the audience but is proving the office right and c) now WWE will presumably be now looking to move him into the world title picture where he belongs. I can't have my finger THAT far off the pulse, can I? It's Baron Corbin, for christ sake. Quote

I thought perhaps they had a guest French writer for the article but apparently not.. Quote

Snitsky's back acne Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Trick looks the absolute bollocks here. How anyone could see THIS and think "Hmm, yes I'll feud him with Baron Corbin" I have no fucking idea. Quote

If they're keeping Trick as a face then they absolutely needed a solid heel to put him against. I mean sure, they shouldn't be in a position where that needed to be Corbin but I at least appreciate the effort to get Trick back on track with a guy who the crowd won't be cheering. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted September 7 Paid Members Posted September 7 They put the fucking US title on Corbin as soon as he came back? How does anyone watch this shit. Quote

It would only have made sense putting the belt on Corbin if it was to get Trick away from a shite midcard belt and up the card, obviously it did neither I know they probably make a ton of money from replica belt sales but they could do with binning off the IC and US titles, they're belts either for killing time before moving back up the card or a lazy way to get 2 (or more) midcarders feuding Best example was Wade Barrett going for the IC title after his Cena/Orton feuds, as soon as he was involved with that belt you knew his main event run was finished Quote
