Pizzas I have a habit of picking off the toppings and eating them first, so would pick off the Pepperoni, eat them and then the pizza.

Pizza thankfully I only go as far as leaving all the crusts for last for dipping.

The amount of stuff I eat in order when not in public is terrifying, especially when there’s an “outside” to eat before an inside. Bounty, Magnum etc. Biting the bottom off the Jaffa Cake before eating the orange bit and so on.

From the perspective of absolutely anybody outside of this safe space, the weirdest thing that I do would definitely be visiting an online wrestling forum, multiple times per hour, every day of the week, pretty much without fail, getting on for close to twenty years.

Just remembered that when I was younger, when eating out at restaurants/cafes etc I would always eat in the order that the meal was written down. So for example if a menu said 'full English - sausage, bacon, egg, beans, toast' I would eat it in that exact order.

Such a weirdo.

Cant believe I forgot this one, but due to an unfortunate drunken incident about 20 years ago where I nearly pulled my eye out, a general paranoia and the fact I'm just this way, everytime I take my contact lenses out I have to confirm it out loud.

So I'll say "that's the right lens out of the right eye, and that's the left lens out of the left eye" and if the cat is upstairs while I'm doing this and in sight, I'll reconfirm it with her "Nova, that's both lenses out" etc.

I hate myself.

Haha. That's reminded me of the time when I got very drunk and thought I feel asleep in my contacts. Woke up and thought my eyes were blurry because my lenses were all dry from being slept in and that I was still a bit drunk. Turned out I had taken them out and my eyes were blurry because I had nothing correcting my vision.

I'm guessing your incident was on similar lines!

Even though I was hammered (LADSLADSLADS) I distinctly remember trying to take one lens out for about 10 minutes, being so frustrated that I couldn't grab it, asking my brother in law to help, and then him saying "mate, it's already out" and it was on the back of my thumb somehow.

So for 10 minutes I'd just been pulling on my eyeball. Absolutely grim.

I have also fallen asleep in them plenty of times, and I think that's actually where more of the paranoia comes from.

I have this fantastic way of catastrophising, and before I know it, in my mind I've fallen asleep in my lenses, think I took them out, put another pair in, and before I know it this has happened several times and I now have a stack of lenses on each eye and can never get them out.

I take it you've seen that viral video of doctors taking like 20 lenses out of this woman's eye? Grim and compelling.. you can't believe it just keeps going and going. If you haven't seen it, then check it out. You will either enjoy it or it will be your worst nightmare come to life and it will scar you forever (even more).
