Lassana Diara won his court case against FIFA.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/oct/04/fifas-transfer-rules-go-against-european-union-law-rules-eus-highest-court-lassana-diarra

This could be as seismic as Bosman, as essentially it states that FIFAs transfer rules are anti-competitive and break EU law.

Bit more reading: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/sep/29/will-the-lassana-diarra-case-bring-down-transfer-market-as-we-know-it

(Sorry I know The Grauniad is shit these days but the sports writing is still often excellent)

Delighted with that Forest result today. A very good point on the road with ten men for 35 or so minutes. Came very close to nicking it at the end as well. Still have our issues elsewhere on the pitch, and off it too with Fat Tony getting himself into trouble again, but our defence is rock solid. I think only Liverpool have conceded less goals so far.

Also, lol Spurs.

Good win at home against Southampton yesterday. We did fine in the first half without creating too much, but them scoring seem to wake us up instantly and Havartz scoring so quickly after they took the lead, we had a real purpose to us. Southampton when we went 2-1 up had moments, their young player Dibling looks promising, Saka was class for us like usual and Havartz once he moves back up front was superb, Jesus needs time to get back up to full fitness after injuries, but you can see the difference a mile off when he starts up top and when Havartz does. Level with Man City going into the international break, looking forward to the return of club football and playing Bournemouth away.
