The Outlaw is out. Dan Hardy gone from the UFC

[Egg Shen]

As long as they bin off Goldie, i'm easy.

I don’t mind Hardy as a commentator but it’s not like they’ll suffer without him. His strength for me is the analyst/fight breakdown stuff and he can do that whoever signs him. Fight wise, I’m not that arsed about a comeback but I’d watch a Pettis fight or something. Although I don’t see that ending well for Hardy.

Hardy was alright on commentary.

But he was not in the same league as Mauro or Brian Stann.

A shame Stann retired early. Would've liked to see Brian Stann vs. Ryan Spann.

But yeh - overall, I don't think any kind of commentary signing would really shift the needle, nor should it, given how commentators are meant to complement a broadcast, not be the centrepiece of it. I'd say the best any commentator should do in terms of ratings is not put you off watching.

There aren't many MMA commentators that I actually like these days.

DC and Rogan do my head in. Cruz does nothing for me. Goldie, Thomson and Big John are fucking dreadful. I like Bisping, but more the person rather than the commentator.

Anik is alright I guess.

Anik and Cormier would be my team of choice. I like DC as a commentator far more than I did as an eye-poking competitor.

i know Rogans not the flavour of the week anymore, but the combination of DC, Rogan and Anik works for me, but i can see why people wouldnt dislike the team.

I used to think DC was trash, but after a few shows with him not being around Rogan he grew on me a lot. Around Rogan he is absolute trash though.
