Take a bow Simpson and Williamson, cracking fight!

Yeah I really enjoyed it, scrappy as anything, but fun. Everyone thought Simpson's tactics would be to try and stay on the outside this time, but he went with lets brawl on the ropes the whole fight instead. Giving the whole second half of the fight the feeling he might get KO'd late again here.

Yeah I did, very fun fight, and rematches can usually fall short of the first one. Very ballsy tactic from Simpson to fight that sort of fight all the way, like you say it could have gone wrong for him but it was his night that night, brilliant scrap.

Late getting this up, but it's Teofimo Lopez vs. Rolly Romero tonight.

Bizarre buildup involving two of Boxing's most unpredictable characters. They are mates of sorts, both blow hot and cold in the ring, but I wanna see it. Who knows how this goes?

great card as well earlier on at the copperbox, Jimmy Sains and George Liddard both in good fights, entertaining. Leli Buttigieg was in a good fight as well.

As for Teo and Rolly, I thought Rolly had some great moments and then for reasons known only to himself decided to take his foot off the gas and coast it...

Onto to Itauma vs Hrgovic

Felt the DAZN commentary team were overly harsh on Teo/Rolly. I enjoyed the fight, they were right about Rolly simply not doing enough though. He basically waiting on that check left hook all night, it was so dangerous though it kept me engaged.

As an Itauma fan, I'm genuinely giddy about the Itauma vs Hrgovic bout this weekend.

As durable as Hrgovic is, I think Itauma will have few issues tagging him, and will eventually hurt Hrgovic enough to secure a stoppage, probably around rounds 5 or 6.

Itauma/Hrgovic this weekend then, what we saying?

I ain't really followed much fight week, there's not a lot to sink your teeth into, but this is gonna be a cracking challenge for Itauma. The big question is how will Itauma look if he faces some adversity, he's surely going to feel some here, I don't see him blowing Hrgovic out in a couple of rounds. The fact that they've lumped the vacant IBF Title on this too is going to mean Hrgovic is coming in motivated. There's some reports out there that Itauma has been put over in sparring but these kinds of things tend to pop up before every big fight.

Very solid undercard too.

Sam Noakes/Denis Berinchyk the pick of the bunch. Couple of solid little Heavyweight knocks there too. I'll post the fancy graphic up when I see one.

Predictions lads? I'm gonna take Itauma in 7-8.

I think Itauma will win it but I do think Hrg will make him work for it in places, before eventually being overcome

If I'm instructing Hrg though fwiw, Id be telling him to make it ugly, tie Itauma up, wrestle with him a bit, as skilled as Hrg is he is very hittable and I wouldlnt go in there with Itauma and think Im going to box him comfortably to a win, I'd try and smother him and outman him before stepping off and firing shots, I'd be telling Hrg frustrate him, Itauma at the moment looks like he has some conditioning issues that may see him struggle in the deeper stages of a fight, Hrg's lot have surely been going in on a plan to try and exploit this to the best of their abiltites

Solid across the board that for me. Noakes/Berinchyk could very well steal the show show.

To echo the thoughts of others on here, I too am very much looking forward to this fight tonight and the main event on the other show between Mayer and Cameron.

I got Itauma by stoppage between 7/8 rounds, Mayer winning on close points decision and Noakes winning via UD.
