Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted July 13, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 13, 2017 Levy has his faults (quite a few), but I'm not sure I'd trade him for any other chairman in the league.
Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted July 13, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 13, 2017 £50 Million when they need him to be able to register the ridiculous number of non trained in the UK players makes sense, especially as its a role they had to fill with a UK player or risk having to sell even more guys to be able to make the numbers add together.
Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted July 13, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 13, 2017 Poch brought a lot of greatness out of Walker, as well. It's not a given he's going to go to City and be brilliant.
Members SuperBacon
He will be. He's a great player, one of the best RBs in Europe, but you're right £50m for a 28 year old when we have options in that position? No brainer for Levy. Shame it ended on a slightly sour note as he gave his all and loved Spurs but that's life. Him vs Danny Rose next season 😳

Danny's going nowhere... I mean that really is a position where we have no adequate back up. Davies is decent but I don't think he's the level we need

Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted July 13, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 13, 2017 Honestly think this is such a mental signing. Even more so than Stones. Can't wait to see Walker's attempt at Guardiola-ball.

Paid Members Gus Mears Posted July 13, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 13, 2017 I think he's pretty good and will do a job for City. He's better than corpse of Bacary Sagna in the position and is certainly an improvement on Navas and Fernandinho, who don't even play there. Bakayoko is allegedly having his medical with us tomorrow. This will make it his 32nd medical in the last two weeks.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted July 13, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 13, 2017 It's all happening at the moment isn't it? As well as that, you apparently have the following happening now: Mendy to City, Mahrez to Roma and Milan making bids for Belotti & Bonucci. That'd be another supposed Chelsea striker target gone. Paid Members Gus Mears Posted July 13, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 13, 2017 "supposed Chelsea striker target". Pfffft, get real mate. We're already stacked with quality forward options for next season. Still on the books.
