Members SuperBacon Posted May 31 Members Posted May 31 Took the kids to Thorpe Park today, first time I've been there in probably about 20 years. My youngest was desperate to go on Hyperia, but when confronted with it up close didn't fancy it, and fuck me was I relieved (she's going next month with her friends and I think she'll go on it then) as it looks huge. Anyway the girls loved it, I went on pretty much everything else with them, Swarm is a great ride, Saw was brilliant but absolutely horrific, and we didn't queue more than 20 minutes for anything all day. I did really want to go on Hyperia, but as those are the first roller coasters I've been on for donkeys years, maybe next time. Quote
DavidB6937 Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Hyperia is great! As with a lot of modern coasters it feels super safe but still retains the fear factor because of the sheer size of the bloody thing. I get far more anxiety with older shaky rides. Quote
