Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted January 16, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted January 16, 2017 This was a childhood highlight on a Sunday before having Sky and becoming used to 'Super Sunday'. Â Â Definitive Two - "I'm Stronger Now". Class song.. Â
Guest
Rod Argent & Peter Van Hooke with the theme to the rather crappy 80s ITV comedy "The Two of Us".. Â That's a class tune. I feel like I've just completed Wonder Boy.
Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted January 17, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted January 17, 2017 Not only was the X- Men cartoon theme great, but the Japanese version was much better  https://youtu.be/7IzSGvXc_PM  https://youtu.be/nVqMHAjQrqk
Paid Members herbie747 Posted January 17, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted January 17, 2017 (edited) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ev1aBt-_Zs4  Ulysses 31  I did a cover version of that a few years back:    I wasn't even a fan of the show, but the Twin Peaks tune has to be one of the best of all time. It's like Albatross (Fleetwood Mac) meets Call of Ktulu (Metallica).  I also liked Diff'rent Strokes:  ALF had a great groove to it - awesome bass:  The Fall Guy:   And the super hot Anna Sentina doing Seinfeld: Edited January 17, 2017 by herbie747
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted January 17, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted January 17, 2017 Everybody can remember Brian May's "Driven by You" advert for Ford back in the early 90s can't they? Â
Paid Members herbie747 Posted January 17, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted January 17, 2017 He sang on it too!!? Sounds like he got a Freddie impersonator (even though it was released just before Freddie died).

Paid Members Gus Mears Posted January 19, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted January 19, 2017 Â Â Â Really though, has there ever been a better theme than Grandstand? It's like a jolly Kurt Angle's WWF theme but 10x better. In fact, I can't help but wish his WWF run would've been so much better if they'd used that theme instead. Â Â Â Â Â Don't you remember that time when they did? Paid Members Chilly McFreeze Posted January 19, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted January 19, 2017 Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but Going For Gold is a classic. It also has one of my favorite facts to amaze your friends, the composer of the track is Hans Zimmer. Â

drkopen
Â Â Â Ulysses 31 I did a cover version of that a few years back: Â Â Nice cover Herbie. Â I was at a gig once where they played this as their last song. Really random but good fun. Â I'm convinced there's a market for bands to just play TV themes.
