By my count I've picked up another 2 points, down to finally getting something out of a draw :D

The final scores were added to the opening post on Sunday evening, an the table was correctly updated for the first time in ages here the following night. As SNRN10 pointed out, the scores from Week 27 were somehow forgotten about, so all of the previous 4 updates have been inaccurate. I've deleted them now, and used the last correct one to add up the total scores properly. I'm grateful to him for drawing this to my attention and sorry that my travel plans resulted in more than a month of sloppy, false classifications.

He is propelled back into mid-table comfort now that he has his D2D bonuses back. Someone else in that position, Shy Dad, appears to be giving up, because as I admitted a few weeks ago, it's difficult to stay motivated at this stage if you're not near either the top or bottom of the standings. Then again, he hasn't posted for 10 days, but he has been logging in, so I have to assume he's seen the threads and actively avoided posting in them.

Anyway, nobody made it into double figures this time out, so 4 participants were level as joint highest scorers on 9 each. One of those was Seph, who noted above that he thus pulls a further two points clear of hallicks, who's now cast adrift by a full dozen points. With the points from the 27th round back in, we can now see that the gap at the other end is even smaller than we thought, although TildeGuy could only close it by one to 17 points on this occasion. Vegeta was outright worst performer on 3 points, and is now barely clinging onto a top-5 position.

As for the matches - well, the unexpectedly wide margins of victory for Hull, Chelsea, Dundee United and Bayern meant that they were only good for one-pointers, but most pickers did at least manage to take that from those games. A surprisingly narrow home win for Aberdeen still proved fruitful, as did similar scorelines for the Blades and, on the road, Saints too. Also useful were score draws at Carrow Road and in Hannover, but the outcome of basement battle between Cardiff and Fulham was probably the toughest to foresee.

This is on course to be posted just in time, so I'll get on with the new thread in a few minutes...

My lead continues to shrink every week

Still a healthy lead but could do with putting a few decent weeks together now

Also Fog Dude, one problem that I thought I#d give you the heads up on now, I'm getting Married, Sat April 26th (not an issue for that week as I'll be about during the week to get picks in for that week) but on Tuesday 29th I'm going to NY for our honeymoon for 2 weeks

Now the hotel says it has wifi so I could possibly get on depending on what its like but I'll be very busy so I may not get a chance or even forget

Is it possible a bit nearer the time during that final week to pm the final few weeks fixtures (I know games might be moved which could be an issue) and I'll give you my predictions to put on here in the relevant weeks.

Thought I'd tell u know so we can work something out in time
