Bollocks.

Ha, yeah, I doubt you meant to leave that as 1-10, but you could've been trying to type 1-1 so I definitely can't give you any points for that. Anyway, the final scores went into the original post on Sunday night and the updated table was uploaded a couple of hours ago.

So, hallicks was deservedly punished for his pessimism as the Eagles overcame their new manager's former club thanks to a solitary Jason Puncheon strike. Fully 16 of the other 21 participants this time out rightly disagreed with him, although many of those had gone for a score draw thinking that he'd bet on a home win. Having failed to pick up any bonuses, however, he still managed a respectable total of 7 points in this low-scoring round. Sadly for hallicks, Seph got 9 and has therefore caught him up. Those two are now joint last in the standings, with only the latter's fewer one-pointers separating them.

At the other end, MVP RULZ was one of three equal top scorers on a dozen points each alongside Lawz and ultimo, so his lead is back up into double figures. SNRN10 had a bad week with just 3 points, but we have to keep in mind that his overall position may be false since he's one of the very few players not to have had his turn at D2D yet.

There was a fairly easy-to-spot pattern to the scoring this week. Most people correctly thought Chelsea and Celta Vigo would win at home win at home and that Newcastle, Spurs and Real Madrid would get away victories. The exact scorelines in the Spanish matches were harder to come by, though. Narrow but crucial triumphs for the Canaries and, as mentioned earlier, at Selhurst Park, caught a few more pickers out. Most fruitful of the three Scottish fixtures proved to be the draw at Firhill, but surprise outcomes at Pittodrie and in Dingwall were less useful, with Inverness producing an unexpected win on the road in an all-northern clash just as the Tangerines were failing to do the same.

New set of 10 coming up very soon...
