The final scores are now in the original post, while the table has been updated too. Nothing special about the scoring this week. Two newcomers remain in the bottom 4 by being joint lowest scorers with 2 points each, allowing hallicks to close the gap at that end to just one. There were two absentees this time out. One was a fellow noob who also hasn't submitted a D2D team despite being PMed about it, so I can only assume he's giving up.

When I saw that there were 22 replies to this thread on Saturday afternoon, I wouldn't have guessed that FPL veteran and ex-champ cheetah would be the other one sitting out the round. He went into it in second place, so I don't know what's gone on there. Even if he hadn't missed it, that might not have been enough to prevent seph moving further into nosebleed territory. He was top scorer by a wide margin this week, closing the gap on Lawz to just 11 with his own turn at D2D still quite a while away.

As for the matches, three stalemates only yielded a couple of three-pointers between them. Norwich's failure to take anything at the KC Stadium didn't prove fruitful either, whilst the score draw at St Mary's wasn't of very much more use. The D2D outcome was incorrectly guessed by hbk4life, but with a haul of 8 points, he still didn't disgrace himself. Only 9 of the other 21 participants disagreed with him, and many of those went for draws when Hearts in fact snatched a victory. An opportunity missed then, but little damage done.

The three home triumphs were generally the easiest to guess, especially those at The Britannia and El Madrigal where the scoreline was a straightforward 2-1. The next set of 10 will be up tomorrow morning, and I'll probably have to make my picks straight away. I'll explain why at that time, including the complications regarding the next couple of weeks.
