Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted September 10, 2014 Awards Moderator Share Posted September 10, 2014 Stone Cold's latest guest was Ric Drasin. I've never heard of this guy, and after hearing his stories this astonishes me. He broke through in the 60s, trained by Mae Young, worked out with Schwarzenegger and designed the Gold's Gym logo. His life and career is staggering and fascinating - there's a good chance he's working us but its really darn entertaining. He also sounds about 20 years old and Steve clearly adores him, it's a lot of fun. Handsome bastard too.
Amazing_Red_Fan
That Ric Drasin podcast was so much fun. It was one of those where I wasn't sure I could be arsed to sit through it but I'm really glad that I did! Austin's reading Bob Holly's book and he'll be a guest in a week or two. Looking forward to that one.
Flangedango
Steve used to ride with Bob and Billy (Gunn) on the road before he hit it big. So hopefully they will crack out a few decent stories from that one. Edited September 11, 2014 by Flangedango

WyattSheepMask
Haven't bothered with Austin's podcast for a while besides the most recent Heyman episode, but saw that this week he has Kevin Nash on so thought I'd give it a go. So far, they've talk about what bog roll they buy and how much carbs are in a teaspoon of tomato sauce. Then I remembered why I stopped listening

SpykeDudlei1
In the middle of the JR/Bill Watts. It's a good listen so far but particularly loving how JR isn't getting the opportunity to hijack this one. Despite numerous attempts to interrupt, it's clear that Cowboy Bill is the 'Alpha Dog' in that relationship so just keeps talking over him. Also, has anyone noticed that Austin's Podcast One producer clearly can't be listening through all of his recordings? On several occasions he'll attempt to restart a sentence/question which is obviously meant to be an edit point but it remains in the final cut. King Pitcos
Also, has anyone noticed that Austin's Podcast One producer clearly can't be listening through all of his recordings? On several occasions he'll attempt to restart a sentence/question which is obviously meant to be an edit point but it remains in the final cut. On one of the recent ones I listened to, he fucked up a sentence about four times but then said "leave that all in."
Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted September 24, 2014 Awards Moderator Share Posted September 24, 2014 The Attitude Era Podcast 'reviewed' the Broken Skull Challenge, and by proxy the Stone Cold podcast. I found it really enjoyable. And there's brief (but spot on) swipes at Jericho's and JR's too.
