  1. OK, so WWE gets to run 12 PLEs a year, & then, if you're watching & keeping track of them, the others (TNA, AEW, New Japan, ROH, etc.) have their versions of PLEs interspersed. Just seems like a fairly heavy schedule for the mid-level fan to be in line with. Casual fans certainly won't give a crap about keeping up, & that's where the biz loses the appeal. One company isn't wrestling, & over-saturation of "the one" tends to balls it up for the rest of the class. Companies want to keep people hooked, I get it, but think back to the 90s when there were loads on TV; WWF, WCW, SMW & USWA alone were building up & catching the casuals, who are (hopefully) todays addicts. We don't have that these days because of "the one" & the lack of long-running feuds.
  2. TL;DR: over-saturation of PPVs/PLEs. Too. Many. WWE PPVs. Storylines are developing on all 'E' brands too quickly, so the weeklies are a pain in the arse. No time is given to really develop classic feuds & angles anymore. The old schedule, aka the Big 4, would be better plus two others (King/Queen of the Ring & 2 others). Run Crown Jewel, per the Riyadh deal, if needs must though as it's a bought-in show it should be treated as such; run it on regular TV like Tuesday Night Titans for example. If the world was sensible, the WWE would run: - mid-to-end of January: Royal Rumble - end of March/early April: WrestleMania - end of May/early June: King & Queen of the Ring (inc. Hell in a Cell) - end of August: SummerSlam (inc. Money in the Bank) - early-October: A.N. Other PLE (foreign) - late-November (Thanksgiving): Survivor Series (inc. Elimination Chamber) - between Christmas & New Year: A.N. Other PLE (US/Canada) Any stipulation matches (TLC, etc.) should be special attractions for WrestleMania, & not even every year.
  3. Matt Jarrett would pay to induct him ...
  4. TBH I'm looking forward to this, as a bit of a wrestling history nerd.
  5. Burchill. Either with or without the pirate gimmick.
