This is one of the best music videos I've ever seen.

New De La produced by Pete Rock!

We miss you Dave.

Ran through that new Mobb Deep album which is really decent. I think I prefer the Havoc produced tracks over the Alchemist ones. Speaking of which, new Armand Hammer album produced by him out today.

That "new" Big L album is as shit as I thought it'd be. What a shock.

In rap related news, last week on the way up to the Spurs game I asked my 12yo what she was listening to, and it was Hoe Cakes by MF DOOM. Not massively appropriate but I nearly shed a tear. She absolutely loves Kanye as well.

Clipse this evening. They performed really well. They were only on stage for an hour total which is a shame as they have so much good stuff, but they played a good mix even if they did of course mainly focus on the new album (Plus side is got home at a decent hour!).

It does smart to have such a short show for the price - it's not like they don't have enough of a back catalogue to play for longer. For example, there was only one track from till the casket drops (popular demand).

Had some cool videos/ pictures on the screens playing throughout.. some hilarious stuff especially for Mike Tyson blow to the face, and lots of cool pics of them as kids, old videos and shit. All good.

They both sound great live, and the hell hath no fury beats in particular sound so good live.

All in all, glad I went. And just for you, Bacon -

Way too much. Embarrassed to say tbh. But it was £70.

That's not too bad considering the price of everything these days. Glad you enjoyed the gig mate!

Maaan I was really hoping neil was about to get Ether'd, instead I got Japanese girls catching strays and a lot of homophobia. Nice of your mum to pick you up though.

Instead of neil getting killed on wax,

All I got was a spice attack

Mel C punched me til my dome went CRACK

Got myself another spice attack

Ate some Takis now it burns when I crap

On my throne getting spice attacked

Sharwoods declaring war on Pataks

Both sides throwing spice attacks

Thought this might interest some, Atmosphere playing over here (only London mind) with Sage Francis.

Will definitely try and make that show, despite their dogshit poster I love some Slug and Ant.

Atmosphere is one of the only hip hip with a live band shows that I have ever enjoyed,  I think because Ant uses live instrumentation in his production and because of the way he does his arrangements.
