I know there's a time and a place for no-selling, and for LOD it made sense, but I simply don't like Hawk's no-selling of piledrivers. I get it.. I do.. but.. no... I like LOD but that match was crap. Â I was watching The Ladder Match 2 on Netflix US as well and I just have to ask who the fuck thought it was a good idea having that Tracy Smothers v Chris Candido SMW ladder match on it. It really did feel as though it was just a case of cramming on every other ladder match they could find in their library. Loads of good old wrestling mags and VHS off Sky and stuff like that. But the best find is a GLOW VHS I was given by my Taid when he realised it was actually wrestling and not the softporn he thought Women's Wrestling was, or at least should have been. GLOW fucking rules. I wish I still had a working video. If I remember correctly The Heavy Metal Sisters do someone's arm in on this with a spike. Â If you've never seen GLOW before, here's a taste. - Â Â Â Along with Wrestlicious, the only women's wrestling I've ever felt was worth a shite. I used to flick it on as soon as everyone cleared off out of the front room after Monday Night Football had gone off. I watched one where April Hunter (who else?) had her knockers out and Jimmy Hart was her manager. Unfortunately, Jimmy was fully clothed, but he was just casual as you like. As if there was no difference between managing a naked April Hunter and Greg Valentine. Mind you, he was wearing shades, so you can only imagine where his eyes were. Â April Hunter is just the worst, though. The woman just paid her way into the wrestling scene. Flying herself everywhere to every indy date and paying Apter to put her in POW magazine.
