Of course there are different opinions to mine. I'm a wrestling fan on the Internet who has never masturbated over someone landing on their head... Alright, apart from Lita that time. I'm extremely au fait with encountering different opinions to mine, that's what I thrive on. The Internet would be no fun at all if everyone else was also right.

By the standards of chimney bottlers, yes. But I don't have to share the opinions of said chimney bottlers on what makes a good wrestling match or a good wrestler. They're usually the sort of people who suggest WWE would be better if Tyson Kidd got more TV time anyway, and that Raw should be more like Superstars. There are posters on here who know what they're on about and watch a wider variety of wrestling than I do, like ButchReedMark, so if they're talking someone up, my interest will be piqued. But if the only people talking about someone are the generic yellow fever boys, I know it's probably not worth my time.

 

Cena isn't Dave Benson Phillips and Kenta Kobashi isn't a school kid.

Morishima is a big fat school kid, though, and I bet he's been in the PS50 before.

I saw on another forum that a lot of them are just the Japanese equivalents of Christopher Daniels and co. I know Fin put one (or both) of those awful acrobat lads that had the Worst Match Ever with the Motorcity Machine Guns on Impact a couple of years back in the PS50 once. Naruki Doi, I think.

There are no different styles of wrestling, only Mexipervs and child pornographers talk up non-WWE wrestlers. The PS list should cater to cool wrestling fans who get loads of girls. Yeah, them.

See, I see where you're coming from and I don't agree with a lot of the list and Japanese wrestling or indy wrestling isn't my cup of tea. I'm also aware that there are people who live up to the stereotype of hating Cena and loving the stiff boyzzz. And I'm guilty of looking down on them as they seem to do it to be elitist and cool. I'm not saying you have to share the opinion, just that people have different ones and, at least in my opinion, a wrestler shouldn't be judged on whether they're in the top promotions.

Good point brought up by Jim Ross when told Miz was number 48(?) something along the lines of "Not in Earnings though."

 

I never take this list to heart due to the fact Fin (& Co) are so set in their ways and don't really seem capable of changing their opinion of some wrestlers (Cena.)

 

Also not a big fan of it just being "Bell to Bell." Probably the reason i don't venture out of WWE often but its mostly about storyline/promos and match for me. Can never get in to two randoms just fighting for no reason like what happens in some indys.

People take pitcos' particular bile too seriously. The points are serious sausage, but they're wrapped in bacon of ribbing humour. This metaphor has failed miserably.

 

It's a tough balance, to be fair to Martin. You either include all wrestling, or just what's on tv. If it was just what was in tv it be terrible, but it's impossible to include all wrestling everywhere.

Oh I know, though it's funny that when Supremo did the same sort of tongue in cheek god complex thing people decided he was being absolutely serious.

 

I just found it amusing that Pitcos broke character and stopped to put in a little disclaimer that he doesn't really know what he's talking about when one of the other cool posters disagreed with him.

Cheers, always nice to meet a fan. Your upset at someone daring not to fellate lovely puro would've been funnier if you still had your favourite bemulleted Japanese wrestler as your avatar, though.

They often do, but that's their prerogative. The "our sport is serious business" people aren't renowned for their sense of humour. If it hadn't been for my posts, people would've taken issue with Fox Piss' post above, which is my favourite in the thread apart from NEWM's. I crave NEWM posts like [insulting term for IWC stereotypes] crave [insulting indie wrestling cliche].
