Paid Members Egg Shen Posted March 27, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted March 27, 2012 plausable. Tend to share how you've come to that thinking? Or is it just a radom guess  mainly cause they are saying it's a band that has never headlined a UK festival, the fact that it's being announced on the 666 thing which makes me think Slayer...plus they aint playing any other UK festival.  I might be completely wrong, but it's my guess. The thing that makes me wonder most is the 'this is by far[/f] the biggest band that has ever played Bloodstock' why kinda eliminates Slayer because i think there's been bigger bands than them there before. Who else could it be? They've had the biggest bands in the death/black metal world.
Keith Houchen
Depends if you class ATP: I'll Be Your Mirror as a festival. Slayer are headlining the Friday night.
cobystag
I don't believe Judas Priest have headlined a UK festival to date and I know the guy doing Bloodstock has been after them for years. Â Really looking forward to BOA. Gonna do all three days this year as I'm looking forward to Sanctuary, Iced Earth, Testament, Grand Magus, Behemoth, Alice Cooper, Paradise Lost, Nile, Dimmu Borgir, etc etc.
Harvey Dent
Priest did High Voltage last summer.
cobystag
Aw bollocks I thought I'd nailed it with that one. Â Then I guess Slayer due to the 6/6/6 announcement. Â Megadeth or Machine Head as outside bets.
SteveJames
Slayer seem like the logical choice out of those for BOA, but Venom and Manowar have also been mentioned. Evile, Furyon, Marionette and a couple other bands have been announced today.
d-d-d-dAz
I really want to know the Lock-Up stage line up for Reading...
cobystag
What throws me is that they've said it's their biggest headliner to date, who also have not yet headlined a UK festival. Â So it is a short selection as you've gotta think of bands bigger than Motorhead, Alice Cooper, Nightwish, etc,. Â Slayer does seem the top band on that short list and the 6/6/6 ties in well. SteveJames
Well, unless Bloodstock hastily add an outdoor in front of festival in their announcement, I guess not. Seems a bit ignorant that they would discount the whole of Reign In Blood being played at Ally Pally.
